San jose fire tells us that people working at the 1 south Market Building which is a 23 story highrise that is under construction evacuated on their own. They are stationed outside the school with patrol cars and officers ready to go. There are also extra officers patrolling all 11 schools here in this district today. Late last night a parent alerted police to an online post up on a social media site. Several students this morning told us that site is called yickyak and the post has since been removed. Police say it was specific about the place and time for an attack. A report out said this was meant to be a shooting or shooting was threatened here. Extra officers were called in to stand guard at various schools this morning and a lieutenant described what they are looking for. Any sort of threatening behavior by a student or by a nonstudent. And trying to obviously discourage anything like that. The high number of police cars on the different sites of the schools is one of the ways were going to try to deter that sort of activity. Reporter the district alerted parents to the threat this morning with a message on its web site. There was also a tweet sent out as well. Students tell me when they got to class today there was a sense of uneasiness amongst the staff but and many students tell me that is when they went home for the day. We talked with a senior who was picked up by her father during the middle of the morning. She thinks stepping up Police Presence at the schools is the right approach. I think it is because then if we had if we didnt have it imagine the kind of parents and we would all be uneasy and not sure of what is going on. I feel better knowing theres protection. Im not saying this is a serious threat or anything but she doesnt feel 100 secure, its fine with me if she studies at home today. Novato detectives meantime reached out to a representative for that social media site where this threat was initially seen. They are now working to identify the person who posted it online. Near the hayward airport on his paraboulevard and sky west drive. The driver hit a jeep suv, a man on a bike and then crashed her honda accord into a wall. Khanna, 38 years old, a democrat, was backed by tech giants and his supporters viewed him as someone who could make changes in congress that honda couldnt. My opponent wasted more than 5 million for this campaign superpac to try to replace my progressive voice with someone who would do their own bidding.
