Mail jackknifed in the east bay spilling letters and packages all over the freeway. Now, this happened just after 5 00 a. M. On northbound interstate 680 on the sunol grade near the sheridan road offramp. As you can see in the picture, traffic is backed up for miles. Still, these are live pictures right now from newschopper2. The chp says that truck could be completely out of there by about 2 00 this afternoon. It has been moved off to the shoulder right now and there is some traffic getting by. But as you can see, theres still an enormous backup. Theres concern for the afternoon commute since that is already a very crowded stretch of roadway as people leave the Silicon Valley heading back up to the east bay. Officers opened two of the northbound lanes around 7 30 this morning. As you can see, traffic remains backed up for miles. That was a picture of the of the male truck turned over on its side. The poetal service had the Postal Service had to send other trucks to get the mail. Thats why its taking so lodge. There was also an ambulance that responded to the scene. The body of 18yearold roxanne rogash was found near fairfax in 1977. 22yearold carmen cook was found in 1978. 38yearold Pamela Parsons in 1993 and tracy tofoya also in yuba county in 1994. A Santa Cruz County man is under arrest accused of multiple counts of possession of child pornography, including images he downloaded while in custody. Detectives found thousands of digital images of child pornography on wednesday at the mans home. While he was being investigated, Police Caught him downloading more images to his cell phone. He confessed and said he had an addiction to child pornography and methamphetamine. Mill valley authorities are stepping up patrols around sycamore looking for a man or men accused of harassing young girls. Two girls say a man drove up, asked for directions and commented on their appearance. The most recent incident happened on wednesday. The girls say they walked away and the man drove off in a black or silver sedan. Police say its unknown if the two incidents are related. Hes the 1yearold child at the request of the family, they people came dressed in white or light colors. Now they are actually matching some of them, the blue casket that drew was laid to rest in. It was just over a week ago that drew was shot and killed while he slept in the bed with his father andrew thomas. Police say the shooter walked down the side of the house and fired shots through a back window. Little drew was are ushed to the hospital where he was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. His father was pronounced dead at the scene. The two were staying at a relatives home. At the service, mayor jean quan was in attendance. Oakland are still actively investigating this crime. A 30,000 reward is being offered in this case. Randy alana is charged with vie lighting a provision of his violating a provision of his parole. One of the provision, not having contact with coke. Alana has not been charged in the coke case. Her body was found in vacaville last friday. Supporters hope to raise 100,000 for the funds. In oaklands latest action against prostitution, a hotel has been shut down. The City Attorneys Office uncovered an overwhelming amount of evidence of sex trafficking at the hotel and it convinced the superior court to shut the place down. The hotel was recently sold to Business Owners who plan to tear the building down and replace it with a strip mall with office and restaurants.
