restricted area. >> reporter: we know he was arrested. terminal b you but the big question is how he able to breach security. how a man was able to gain access to a private tarmac is a question airport officials say is under investigation. san jose police tell ktvu, he was spotted in a restricted area sunday morning. they brought him into the lobby of their building and called the police. he allegedly ran to the street and tried to get a maintenance worker to get give him a right to the terminals. the maintenance worker allegedly refused. he stole a maintenance truck, drove around on the streets and ended up at terminal b where he was arrested. >> even though no one was hurt, he could have hurt someone. >> reporter: an airport spokesperson said that operations were not affected and no one was in danger. >> the person was identified and appropriate action was taken to apprehend this individual. >> in august, a woman slipped through tsa and got onto a flight to los angeles and in april, a 15-year-old boy scaled the fence, snuck into the we will well and survived a five- hour flight to maui. >> to honestest, it's not that big of a surprise, there are so many people and there are ways of getting by security. >> reporter: he is in county jail, we'll see if he is facing charges of trespassing and possessing a stolen vehicle. heather. >> thank you, kristina. >> >> highway patrol said alcohol likely played a role in a wrong way crash overnight that left two people dead t happened last night, the highway patrol said the driver was traveling northbound in southbound lanes. the driver crashed into another car, killing both drivers, a passenger in the victim's was was seriously hurt. chp said a third person was involved, but that person was not hurt. san francisco police say the man remains in san francisco general, the man fell on friday morning from a building at the corner of montgomery and california, a busy financial district. he landed on top of a slow aquited of 21 of the charges it's unclear how many charges the next trial will involve. martin, a married father of two remains in county jail on $10 million bail. >> >> developing news near ferguson, missouri, the grand jury investigating the michael brown shooting has yet to announce their decision. reporter garrett keny joining us live from ferguson on how authorities are bracing for a potential backlash. garrett? >> a lot of preparations underway across st. louis, but especially here in ferguson outside of the police department and the courthouse, people are on edge, waiting on the grand jury decision. we are told they did not meet over the weekend, but they are likely to reconvene on monday to decide whether or not to bring the charges against officer darren wilson. barricades surround the st. louis county courthouse where the 12 member panel is meeting behind closed doors. also around the makeshift command center set up by law enforcement in ferguson. sources close to the matter say a grand jury announcement is unlikely to come before monday. no matter what the panel decides, police want to prevent any street violence or unrest that resembles what happened when brown decision will come down tomorrow >> an investigation is underway in cleveland after police fatally shot a 12-year-old boy holding a bb gun that looked like a semi-automatic weapon. police responded to someone looked like was a gun, being pulled off his pants. but it was fake. authorities say the boy did not comply with officer's orders. >> there were no verbal or confrontation. the officers ordered him to stop and show his hand and he went into his waist band and pulled out the weapon. one of our officers fired two shots, striking the young man. >> the boy was taken to the hospital and died this morning. the person that made the 9-1-1 call said he didn't know if the gun was real and said the suspect was "probably a juvenile." it's unclear if that information was passed onto the responding officers. >> >> this is reminiscent of lopez killed by sheriff's deputies he the deputy that shot him was not charged and was kept on the force >> a driver who police say was evading officers was killed when his car went down an embank machine. officers tried to pullover the driver this morning the officers say the driver did not stop and lead police on a chase along bayshore boulevard. he was the only person in the vehicle. daily city police and the highway patrol are investigating the chase and the crash. >> >> new information about the person killed in an alleged hit and run accident in vallejo last week. the 21-year-old, it is said, was riding a redenies son when 23-year-old jermaine tolliver slammed into his car at a high rate of speed. yaala's passenger was also injured. >> >>
