These are the charging documents for Ashley Newton who has now been officially charged with murder. Reporter police say they found the san jose woman saturday morning holding a lifeless infant in her arms near camp arroyo in livermore. Authorities told us they believed newton crashed her car then went into the park and stabbed her son repeatedly. Records obtained by ktvu showed newton admitted to stabbing her 7 monthold son numerous times and told detectives quote, im sorry i killed my baby. We tried going by newtons apartment in the willow glen neighborhood to see if there were any family members but we were turned aid way by the community manager. Right now newton is being held without bond at the santa rita jail. She was expected to appear in court this afternoon. But the sheriff spokesman said that was delayed due to quote medical reasons. He could not elaborate due to Health Privacy laws. Newton is slated to appear in Court Tomorrow afternoon. But the court clerk says they wont know until tomorrow morning whether that hearing will happen or not. The pilots knew each other and likely had agreed on the maneuver. The damaged fighter landed safely near ion in the sierra foothills. Audreys law would make it easier to charge minors as adults in a Sexual Assault involving a victim who is intoxicated or mentally impaired. The state Senate Public Safety Committee approved it today. The bill is named after the 15 yearold who committed suicide in 2012 just days after pictures showing her passed out at party were circulated at saratoga high school. Three boys were charged as juveniles in the Sexual Assault case and received 30 to 45 day sentences. A case before the Supreme Court today will determine whether police can search someones cell phone without a warrant. After two hours of arguments the justices appeared to have differing opinions. One person remains in Critical Condition tonight after a workplace shooting in georgia that injured six and left the gunman dead. Authorities say 19yearold kramer openedded fire on his colleagues at a fedex package handling facility. After injuring his coworkers he turned the gun on himself.
