Is the university telling us they are able to ensure safety and security at Football Games with thousands of people and prominent people like this but when it comes to conservative speakers they are not able to fulfill their peace officer duty . The Berkeley College republicans and another group still want to host her on campus if she is interested, Officials Say they cannot guarantee security because they did not have advanced notice to arrange for a safe location. The first rally is scheduled to start at 10 00, you can see the people in the last five minutes or so people are gathering out here at the Orange County make America Great again and the Orange County another group from Southern California is hosting this event, you can see people with american flags someone with a trump sign, it is hard to tell if the groups or are for or against ann coulter because there is a gathering of 30 or so people and everyone is scattered, we have seen people with the anonymous masks and some shields, we saw a guy with some forearm pad Walking Around something we have noticed throughout the morning is the Obvious Police presence, this is where some rallies were planned for later this morning and across the street is Berkeley PoliceDepartment Early this morning we watched dozens of officers from berkeley pd loading up into vans we dont know where they were headed or what they were preparing for because they have not gotten back with details but we saw officers on patrol early well before dawn those officers were called in to start their normal work shift several hours early, Civic Center Park has been the site of violent clashes between anti and protrump groups earlier this year the most recent happened about 1 1 2 weeks ago the violence was part of the reason officials recommended changing the time and place of ann coulters speech although the University Says she was the one who ultimately canceled the event.
