gunned down inside of a car in oakland. -- >> alex savitz joins us live with this developing story. >> yes, good morning. we just learned more about the victim in this case police say that he was a middle-aged man who lived here in oakland and worked as a security guard in san francisco. early this morning he was found shot to death in the driver seat of that silver hyundai. it is still sitting in the middle of 35th avenue. near international boulevard about a block away. and that's for the investigation has been going on. the discovery was made about 4 am this morning and they saw this man in the car and flag down oakland police officers. paramedics came in and declared the man dead here at the scene. and then, a homicide investigation was launched. they are searching for any witnesses that may have been in the area. they're trying to figure out why this man may have been targeted. and, we also learned a short time ago that detectives are working hand-in-hand with several fbi agents who have been assigned to the oakland police department as part of what is called the state street task force anything that i can get want as many that i can get that will help us work these cases and it's beneficial to the residence. >> and coffee oakland police department has been working with fbi agents on many homicide cases for the past two years as part of that partnership. and, they say that they do not know exactly where this victim was going reportedly he was headed home and coffee and been at work and was heading home. but they are investigating the circumstances and trying to figure out what the motive may have been for this killing. and also another key is that detectives have been canvassing the area and going to many of the businesses nearby checking their surveillance cameras to make sure -- to see if the shooter was captured on camera. that could be vital in a case like this. we have learned that 25% of all video from oakland police body cameras was deleted two years ago. they installed an upgrade in 2014. they mistakenly deleted a quarter of all those vehicles that had been captured. and, the former head of the camera units has a backup system was not set up at the time. we will hear from celeste the woman at the center of a bay area sex scandal. she is a proclaimed sex worker. she is scheduled to hold a news conference just about two hours from now in the state of florida. she went there to a rehab for substance abuse and authorities say that she attacked a security guard there. the only charges have been dropped and she will plead no contest to a misdemeanor in florida. one time is that she has to write a letter of apology and the steel allows her to return to the bay area and testify against officers accused of having sex with her underage or knew about it and tried to cover it up. they say none of its officers broke the law but they could be fired or reprimanded for violating rules. the news conference is set for 11 am. people living on the crookedness street in the world, are frustrated. san francisco transportation held a meeting last night unveiling proposals to handle the traffic. and study shows that during peak times up to 17,000 people travel through that area. and it is also to ease the gridlock including adding more traffic signs and creating a reservation system. that may include an admission fee. >> i didn't hear adopted our dog 10 years ago. it's frustrating to her when we hear stories of people going to breeders. when you have someone like those dogs in your arms. hopefully those phones will start ringing. first spoon of solid food. >> nine months. >> yes, if you start getting them on a nice array of kale and bananas and potatoes you may not think they would be into it but they are. children have really great instincts. if you can encourage them to have a really healthy lifestyle. >> and you have two children at home who want to be up in your business, you say get out of the kitchen but you're saying bring them in. let them choose which ones they like better. or if they want to try a different apple care >> what you do is you menu plan for the week. monday, tuesday, with something to do. and then, the knife that we are cooking, we kind of make it -- the knights that we are cooking, we make it fun. i think sometimes the picky thing kicks in. and, they are kind of not aware because they were doing homework and playing around and now they are like, what is that. and as a frustrating relationship. and, when a mom puts an hour and a half into a really great meal and all of a sudden, you have to battle your children. >> tell me about it. >> so, as a parent you have to stick to her position as their caregiver. and, if it really gets bad, one thing that we have done in the past, it will feel kind of like tough love, you have to say here is your plate of food, there is nothing else. >> no cold cereal after jenner -- dinner. >> yes, and go into that protest part and they will fly down and they will get mad -- slide down in the chair and get mad, but they have hunger and that was -- and they will come back into the kitchen. so you have to conquer their own peers with them. -- fears with them. and we as a society have to make sure that everybody in our community, large and small has the same access to fantastic food. that's what i love about doing this second year. we have such a gunned down inside of a car in oakland. -- >> alex savitz joins us live with this developing story. >> yes, good morning. we just learned more about the victim in this case police say that he was a middle-aged man who lived here in oakland and worked as a security guard in san francisco. early this morning he was found shot to death in the driver seat of that silver hyundai. it is still sitting in the middle of 35th avenue. near international boulevard about a block away. and that's for the investigation has been going on. the discovery was made about 4 am this morning and they saw this man in the car and flag down oakland police officers. paramedics came in and declared the man dead here at the scene. and then, a homicide investigation was launched. they are searching for any witnesses that may have been in the area. they're trying to figure out why this man may have been targeted. and, we also learned a short time ago that detectives are working hand-in-hand with several fbi agents who have been assigned to the oakland police department as part of what is called the state street task force anything that i can get want as many that i can get that will help us work these cases and it's beneficial to the residence. >> and coffee oakland police department has been working with fbi agents on many homicide cases for the past two years as part of that partnership. and, they say that they do not know exactly where this victim was going reportedly he was headed home and coffee and been at work and was heading home. but they are investigating the circumstances and trying to figure out what the motive may have been for this killing. and also another key is that detectives have been canvassing the area and going to many of the businesses nearby checking their surveillance cameras to make sure -- to see if the shooter was captured on camera. that could be vital in a case like this. we have learned that 25% of all video from oakland police body cameras was deleted two years ago. they installed an upgrade in 2014. they mistakenly deleted a quarter of all those vehicles that had been captured. and, the former head of the camera units has a backup system was not set up at the time. we will hear from celeste the woman at the center of a bay area sex scandal. she is a proclaimed sex worker. she is scheduled to hold a news conference just about two hours from now in the state of florida. she went there to a rehab for substance abuse and authorities say that she attacked a security guard there. the only charges have been dropped and she will plead no contest to a misdemeanor in florida. one time is that she has to write a letter of apology and the steel allows her to return to the bay area and testify against officers accused of having sex with her underage or knew about it and tried to cover it up. they say none of its officers broke the law but they could be fired or reprimanded for violating rules. the news conference is set for 11 am. people living on the crookedness street in the world, are frustrated. san francisco transportation held a meeting last night unveiling proposals to handle the traffic. and study shows that during peak times up to 17,000 people travel through that area. and it is also to ease the gridlock including adding more traffic signs and creating a reservation system. that may include an admission fee. >> i didn't hear guy, he has been sitting around he will be a great pet. he will be very comfy. it will take -- he will take exercise without driving you nuts. you may need a little bit more room for her. >> we adopted our dog 10 years ago. it's frustrating to her when we hear stories of people going to breeders. when you have someone like those dogs in your arms. hopefully those phones will start ringing. twice the size of a hockey rink. and, you can see nine horses, and we call it liberty, she is just playing with the horse. and, when they came on stage this was the playground. they just came to have fun. she utilized the natural behavior. and, the hierarchy in the horse world, it had to be the last one and all in the order. and, they just listened to her boys and some movement. so it takes a lot the knife that we are cooking, we kind of make it -- the knights that we are cooking, we make it fun. i think sometimes the picky thing kicks in. and, they are kind of not aware because they were doing homework and playing around and now they are like, what is that. and as a frustrating relationship. and, when a mom puts an hour and a half into a really great meal and all of a sudden, you have to battle your children. >> tell me about it. >> so, as a parent you have to stick to her position as their caregiver. and, if it really gets bad, one thing that we have done in the past, it will feel kind of like tough love, you have to say here is your plate of food, there is nothing else. >> no cold cereal after jenner -- dinner. >> yes, and go into that protest part and they will fly down and they will get mad -- slide down in the chair and get mad, but they have hunger and that was -- and they will come back into the kitchen. so you have to conquer their own peers with them. -- fears with them. and we as a society have to make sure that everybody in our community, large and small has the same access to fantastic food. that's what i love about doing this second year. we have such a
