It will go all the way until monday night. The shade of orange is a heat advisory. The heat advisory starts tomorrow morning. It will go until monday night. The two hottest days we are expecting to come our way. It includes areas of the valley. If we move into the northbay you can see from the north edge of Sonoma County all the way down towards the water. As we shift over to the east we have into the napa valley included. As we move farther east the inland east bay that stretches along highway four and past antioch and brentwood, along 680 and 580. And into the south bay. Right about the sunnyvale area. San jose in all our communities all the way down past gilroy. That is for tomorrow. We have the hot weather coming our way. Right now starting at 55 degrees at oakland and 55 in San Francisco. Yesterday temperatures came up by several dickies. Heres a look at the afternoon highs for today. 70 days degrees this expected in pacifica. If you like it mild head west. Temperatures will be in the 80s along the east bay shore. Areas like fremont going to 88. Northbay 94, and the hotspots, 102 expected in antioch. Temperatures continue to warm as we get into sunday. Monday i will have a look at the extended forecast coming up. Organizers of a controversial rally that was set for San Francisco today are changing their plans. They had wanted to demonstrate at christie field this afternoon. They instituted extra security measures as a precaution. They announced they were calling off the rally blaming San Francisco city leaders for stirring up public hostility against them. All these people are saying that we are white supremacist. Its bringing in ton of extremist. It seems like a huge set up. We are going to take the opportunity to not fall into that trap. Happening today members of Patriot Prayer will gather at another iconic location in San Francisco. Alamo square park which is near the center of the city. San Francisco Police moving around officers to handle the change and plan. Christien kafton is live at alamo square park. Reporter as you might imagine this has caused a lot of lastminute changes here in the city. If you look at alamo square park there is a sign here. Some people putting up signs saying San Franciscos does not tolerate intolerance. There will be a News Conference around 2 pm. The city is starting to prep. You might be able to see a truck down there. Truck putting down fencing around the park. Thats part of what is going on out here this morning. The groups leader now seeing his planning on holding the 2 pm News Conference here at alamo square park. The group have been scheduled to hold it at christie field. City leaders confirm the group had relinquished their permit. Some of the groups had no permits from the city to speak here at alamo park. The group does not need a permit to speak here or assemble here at the park. They are free to use the park like anyone else. The group needs a permit to march. If they leave the park they will be subject to police action. I talked with park personnel. Groups of 25 or more, sometimes those groups need permits as well. We will monitor that situation. The police chief spoke out last night saying his officers are on alert. They will work to prevent violence. We have the ability right now , if we deem something to be a weapon we can take action and we will. Reporter theres also a series of scheduled counter protests here in the city. Including at Civic Center Park in the castro and dolores park. Organizers of the prayer rally had encouraged supporters to attend sundays rally planned in berkeley. That is for tomorrow. The organizers for that event has called off that event as well. City leaders say they are preparing for civic protest as well. We will have continuing coverage for you throughout the morning. We will work to monitor the situation throughout the morning. Since pretrip prayer will not rally today most of the city will be open today. The National Park service lifting many of the restrictions they have placed. There will be no rope closures road closures. Visitor facilities operated by the parks such as presidio, Visitor Center and four Point National Historic Site will remain closed. Several counter demonstrations to the Patriot Prayer conference at alamo square park. Will be a Civic Center Plaza at noon. This event celebrates love and diversity. It will include local entertainer michael ferrante. Music is also a main part of the noontime event called the loved up mobile dance rally. Participants will dance for an hour at dolores park. They will join up with the come together march that started in the Castro District. The group will walk to the civic center to meet up with the main counter demonstrations. A man arrested at a pro trump rally in berkeley earlier this year will not be participating in any possible rallies over the weekend. 41yearold, kyle chapman, taken into custody yesterday. Hes in jail this morning on 135,000 bond. A judge banned him from possessing any kind of weapon. He was ordered to state the state 300 feet away from the park. Chapman is accused of beating counter perjured days the city of berkeley is going to be paying close attention to happen today with in San Francisco. Theres a rally that was set for sunday. Transgender trump supporter from antioch. She was expecting a few hundred people. No races, no violence she declare. Now she is saying please dont come to this event. Reporter by phone from idaho an organizer who is been helping cummings explained she called it off. She is saying she doesnt want anyone to come. She wants to be the only one there. Reporter cummings is influenced by dueling protest that previously spun out of control. She blames opponents. In an email she stressed i do not want anyone coming. If you do i will be turned away. Im sorry for this. I want this event to happen peacefully. I dont want to risk anyone getting harmed by terrorists. It sounds like there is still an event. It sounds like some supporters still may show up. Everybody still has their plans. Everyone is different. Amber has made it clear she doesnt want anyone to come to the event except herself. Sunday a counter protest to cummings would be a demonstration. Its billed as the bay area rally against hate. A Memorial Service will be held for an offduty oakland firefighter who was shot and killed in san jose. 30yearold jake walter was with fellow recruits last week and he in a second offduty firefighter were shot. Police say it was an unprovoked attack. The second firefighter survived the shooting. A suspect was arrested and is now facing charges. The storm made landfall last night. It came in as a powerful category four. Winds were at 130 Miles Per Hour. This morning it has been downgraded to a category one storm. The storm has damaged homes and buildings and has caused some roots to collapse. The governor of texas is warning people the storm could bring devastating flooding this weekend. Before the storm hit busloads of people never living near the coast were evacuated to shelter. Members of the Texas National guard are heading to the areas most affected by the hurricane. Nasa is giving us a rare look at what Hurricane Harvey looks like from space. These are some cameras on the International Space station that captured these images of the hurricane. It shows what hurricane look like. It strengthen into the powerful category four hurricane. If you are planning to fly to texas over the next several days you should be ready for delays and cancellations. Not a big surprise. American, united and southwest all canceling flights in and out of kristi Corpus Christi airports. More than 230 flights have been canceled this morning at two other major airports in houston. Many airlines are offering to waive their usual fees for changing your flight. President trump took to social media over the past 24 hours. Hes been talking a lot about Hurricane Harvey this morning. This is his first Natural Disaster of his administration. He says he is getting constant briefings on the storm from camp david. He plans to visit texas as early as tuesday to look at the storm damage. Lets head over to rosemary for a look at the weather. Will take a look at harvey first. Inland flooding still a possibility. Just because you are away from the coast doesnt mean you can escape the rain. It will continue. As we move through the next 24 to 48 hours. We are hitting 100 degrees for our inland cities today. We will go to 105 on sunday. Monday doesnt look much better before we begin to get a break tuesday and into wednesday. Officials say the 17 southbound and northbound weekday trips could relieve some of that traffic by taking as many as 5000 cars off the morning and evening commutes.
