Police have not said what started the chase. The Brentwood Police department and the Contra Costa County District Attorneys Office are both investigating. More information regarding a crash last night that injured two San Francisco Police Officers near ocean beach pier police say the vehicle overturned after hitting an object on the road. This happen before 8 pm along the great highway near the beach chalet restaurant. Officials say the impact deployed the cars air bags. The officers were both taken to the hospital with nonlife threatening injuries. No other vehicles were involved. This block both directions of the great highway for much of the evening. Prosecutors say witnesses saw patton on great highway on monday throwing items out of her car and screaming at her fiveyearold daughter to get out. And she did not want to be her mommy anymore. That is accused of shoving the child out of the parked car and driving away recklessly with her oneyearold son in the backseat. This child was all by herself by the zoo and the facts speak for themselves. Reporter sugar had the accusations telling her lawyer it wasnt true. Pattons attorney declined to speak on camera. And her fianci had no comment outside of court. We found her public Facebook Page showing pictures of her and her children. Her attorney argued patton has never been convicted of a Violent Crime and she is currently seeking employment and although she has relatives outofstate, she is not a flight risk. The fiveyearold girl and one yearold boy are in the custody of Child Protective Services although the District Attorneys Office is seeking to place them with family members. Shes due in court at about two weeks. A newly elected congressman accused of assaulting a reporter reportedly plans to plead guilty. We are now learning that a power outage affecting over 1000 customers thursday at Mountain View was caused by a drone. This happened around 8 15 pm and Mountain Views rex manor neighborhood. A witness said a man was flying a drone that crashed into some highvoltage wires on polaris avenue. That outage affected about 1600 people. City Officials Say the repairs will cost tens of thousands of dollars. Police are searching for the man who was operating the drum. Witnesses say he drove away in a white hatchback. People from the bay area are heading to the sierra this weekend and could encounter delays. Mud slide has set down several lanes of highway 50. An afghan official says that two u. S. Soldiers were killed and two injured in a surprise attack today in eastern afghanistan.
