go ahead. >> yeah, well we have about 15,000 that have signed up and said that they're coming. another 15,000 or 17,000 have indicated interest but it's so difficult to predict. it's a beautiful day so we're definitely anticipating people. we have three parts to the march for science. the first is a rally with an amazing lineup of speakers including adam savage, the host of myth busters and that starts at 11ing here. after that we're going to march down market street and we finish with the earth day festival and science fair which is a super family friendly activity. lots of fun things to do. the san francisco 49ers, museum has a whole science football, activity area going on so we encourage people to come to which ever part of the march really fits their areas of interest and excitement. >> that sounds great. >> is there one goal, one priority or is it just to get people excited about science. >> we really do want to send a message that science needs to be adequately funded. going to really gut the budgets for the nih and the epa and if you can imagine a 20% cut to mia is a 20% cut to a lot of life-saving research that's needed for things like cancer and diabetes. and you can't cut budgets and reinstate them. you really lose a lot of momentum. so if there's one thing we really want to send a message is really consider how science can be properly funded. so it's available to everybody moving forward. >> on this good day you're getting some good weather out there. thanks for joining us. >> thanks so much for having me. >> celebration and education. sounds like they'll have
