It will be a tad warmer. Warmer tomorrow and the windy and cooler with partly cloudy skies on thursday. Its that time of year. Mostly clear and some clouds continue to rotate down. A lot of 40s here. Everyone is pretty close. 42 in santa clara. 44 for southern cal a. Mostly sunny and a few high clouds. Overall temperatures will bump up a few degrees. 60s, maybe some mid 70s. Last time you had that look you were looking at your screens. I saw clearing accident on highway four. I just got one at 6 55 am. We will start with macarthur maze and the bay bridge to give everyone a general meter of the commute. Its not bad at the macarthur maze. When you get to the bay bridge traffic will be backed up for age 15 to 20 minute delay at the toll plaza before you get onto the bridge. Northbound 101 southbound 101 in San Francisco looking good. Highway four we have the earlier crash at bailey. Now getting report of a new crash just before leverage. It sounds like someone came up on the backup and wasnt expecting this big backup on west bound highway four. Its really jammed. Even though the lanes at bailey have finally been clear after they were blocked for a while. This whole highway commute is kind of a mess. This is a look at the san jose commute. We have a motorcycle accident. The 101 and 280 are beginning to slow down. 85 is also slow from saratoga to cupertino. The Oakland Raiders and their move to las vegas, east bay leaders say they are disappointed and even angry that nfl team owners voted 311 to approve letting the raiders moved to nevada. Oakland and Alameda County now considering whether to sue, to take the raiders and nfl to court. The open Alameda CountyColiseum Authority which runs the coliseum complex is looking at its Legal Options. Lawyers could possibly argue that raiders owner mark davis negotiated an bad faith and refused to meet with oakland mayor libby schaaf. I believe oakland did everything it could responsibly. We held the line on not putting public money into stadium construction. They can go down to santa clara and play. We they didnt want us, and they didnt engage in the city will of oakland. Mayor schaaf says the city came up with a sound plan for privately funded stadium for the raiders, but the city refused to evict the oakland aides. So the raiders could get preference on the site of a new stadium. Roger caddell says that nfl and oakland city officials worked tirelessly to keep the raiders in oakland, but there was no solution that satisfied the city , the raiders, and the leagues owners. While the raiders will play the coliseum for at least this season they may play an exhibition game in las vegas as early as 2018. It would probably be a 36,000 see stadium right now. Chris dobbins representing save oakland sports. Are also on the board of commissioners for the authority. My question is this, whats the value in trying to keep a team here that doesnt want to be in oakland . Its very difficult. Weve all had our hearts broken. Yesterday was a very frustrating process. Its hard to quantify what is and nfl team worth. Every game generates 2000 jobs. The money that comes in from reading, reno and all the fans that come in. Its a huge party. Anyone argue that maybe its not the economic savior that everybody would believe. How do you quantify kids growing up in a city 45 born and raised in oakland. I was 13 when the raiders moved to la. Theres a whole generation of fans we are going to lose. When you live in tuscaloosa alabama and you know about oakland, all you know is about a business team. A lot of these factors are hard to quantify. The passion and the soul, and you see fans from all over the area celebrating its hard to quantify. To say that oakland is a much more than professional sports, when they have been winning which they havent been for 14 years, the past energy the excitement helps the city out. You can quantify the deep feelings that people have. And the feelings about watching with what larry reed said yesterday. Then watching the flag on city hall putting up the open as. You can quantify deep feelings. I would agree with president reed 100 percent. The fact that we have been trying to work with you and he broke our hearts one time, when you left la, now youre doing it again. It looks like they didnt negotiate in good faith. That will be a legal argument down the line. You are actually a lawyer . Is there a legal fight to be one . Linndale raiders left the first time, if you have a house and i want to build a freeway i can take it the power of the state. They will not use that legal argument again. Your hearing the point about the good faith argument if i have a contract with you but im talking to dave about something else, that will be explored. If you were sitting next to mark davis, not me what would you say to him . I probably couldnt say on tv what i really want to say to him. He looked us in the face as fans and said i want to make it work and stay in oakland. Its his team and his business. Its his right to do what he wants. As a seasoned fan i feel betrayed. I dont think he tried. Is the last stadium in the country that a baseball and a football play. There are challenges. You have 55 acres. The last mayor also had a plan. If he wanted to make it work he could have. Its very devastating you have a builtin fan base. 14 years we havent been successful. We sold out the last five season. Roger caddell said oakland isnt a viable market. The nfl, viability is a cheap one. I would argue that oakland is a viable market. Mr. Ross and miami, thats what he said, he said they do not present the plan that oakland wasnt viable. Oakland had a viable plan. If i am trying to sell you a car and you wont talk to me, what kind of the deal is that . Lets talk about baseball. This decision comes when oakland is about to lose the warriors. What about the oakland aides . What is the future . Unfortunately it looks like it will be the one team that stays. Its so ironic yesterday we get our hearts broken by the raiders. Baseball starts next week. With the new administration, its been a 180 turn around, instead of trying to leave the city of oakland they are embracing the city. When is there contract up . They have a 10 year lease. If they are going to build a statement the as are here for the long term. Thank you so much for joining us this morning. Now we turn to you are viewer, who do you hope most responsible for the raiders moving to las vegas . Team owner mark davis, the city of oakland, the mayor, or all of the above . Take a vote on the twitter page. We love to hear your comments. The time is 7 13 am. The last big piece of the old bay bridge is being demolished. Coming up, what drivers may see today.
