Woodside, a cool 47. 50 in stanford. Nenlo park at 51. Right in the ballpark there. Picking up again, 25 to 30 miles per hour. So no change there. The big moment everybody is talking about from yesterday is a speech by Donald Trumps wife, Melania Trump. This is the first time that many heard from the potential first lady. It is a big deal. That speech is controversial. It is. Some people noticed that parts of her speech are word for word almost what Michelle Obama says. They are right now responding to the controversial. The Campaign Calls accusations of plagiarism by Melania Trump, simply absurd. She said she wrote the speech herself with the help of a few writers. She made the case for her immigration status. But some passages are seemingly strikingly similar to the speech delivered by Michelle Obama. You work hard for what you want in life. But your work is your bond and you do what you say and keep your promise that you treat people with respect. You work hard for what you want in life. That your word is your bonds, that you say what youre going to do, that you treat people with dignity and respect. Reporter should say here that the campaign responded to the controversy over that speech. They put out a statement and talked about how she worked with a team of writers and was speaking about her Life Experience coming to america from slovenia and, again, they are denying accusations of plagiarism this morning. And, in fact, we just heard a short time ago from a representative from the Trump Campaign speaking out about. This he said that these are, in his words, common phrases and common values that tend to be used quite a bit he does not see any plagiarism here but, of course, there is a dig controversy, dustup. Thats what everybody is talking about. Thats what everybody is talking about this morning. The campaign has to deal with that now. Okay, alex. We supposed the question to you this morning. By allowing the conservative base to put it again, it apieces appeases them and maybe allows them to stomach the no, maam station of donald trump. The platform states that a border wall must cover the entirety of the southern border and must be sufficient to stop both vehicular and pedestrian traffic. A very tense scene in san leandro. Several Law Enforcement agencies chasing a carjacking suspect. Here is how it started and ended, brian. Reporter hi, dave. About half a mile west of highway 80, near the shell station, behind me is the aftermath of that carjacking and chase from earlier this morning. You can see the skid marks on the roadway and a knocked down pedestrian sign from earlier this morning. I want to go to video showing you the scene from earlier this morning where Hayward Police and Alameda County sheriff chased a carjacking suspect, at least three of them from what i understand. This started before 2 00 in the morning. The suspects carjack carjacked a victim at a toysrus store. The car, at least according to the video that we have seen, pretty badly damaged on the passenger side. The suspects ran away into the neighborhood and Law Enforcement set up a trim ter, went door to door looking for them, even bringing a canine unit, at least from what we have seen. Two of the suspects were taken away first by ambulance for unknown injuries and also Law Enforcement official has to bring out their guns as well because they were unsure if the suspects were armed. It remains unclear of the suspects conditions, also remains unclear the carjacking victim. We did try to speak with the shell owner here, tried to get some Surveillance Video but, unfortunately, the cameras were not pointed into the street area but only into the shell station here. We are not able to see what happened. We reached out to several Law Enforcement agencies, including the Alameda County sheriff but we have not heard back. Brian flores in san leandro, thank you. Seems like the workweek for everyone, backed up for a 20 to 25 minute delay. Traffic on 880 is not that bad. Thats the approach if you have fast track. Highway 4 at 242 which is slightly out of camera view, but right in this area here. Right there. There is a reported crash in the Center Divide and even though its not causing a huge backup, i can already see traffic getting a little bit slow in that area. Police in baton rouge have released new Surveillance Video taken in the minutes before six Law Enforcement officers were gunned down sunday morning. The video shows the suspects targeting police. One African American officer and two white officers died. The sisterinlaw of Montrell Jackson is speaking out about the ongoing circle of violence. Black lives matter, obviously, and all lives matter but killing one another is not going to help anything. The suspect who came from missouri to baton rouge was killed by police. Police are trying to figure out where he bought the handguns and the rifle he used in the shooting. Officers from across the state are gathering for michael krols funeral near detroit in redford township. The service is set to begin in about two hours. The 40yearold krol was one of five officers killed on july 7th when working to protest protect a group of protesters in dallas the Police Shootings has many officers on edge and very nervous. A group of burglars pulled in a maserati and broke into a home. The Surveillance Video images capture a number of images of the people who broke into this house. Then just yesterday, Oakland Police spotted a maserati and chased it. The vehicle crashed into a fence. Looks like the car in the Surveillance Video from the burglary. We cannot confirm it as the exact same maserati. The names of those arrested have not been released. Its unclear if they were linked to any burglary. The warriors another step closer to building a new San Francisco arena. A superior court judge ruled that the Environmental Review is adequate. The group called the Mission Bay Alliance several several lawsuits saying that the warriors did not look at other locations. They claim that it will cause traffic jams and block streets around ucsf. The group has five days to decide if they will appeal. The warriors say they look forward to breaking ground soon and hope to open the new arena in 2019.
