Blocking at least one lane. 7 03. Lets go back to the desk. We begin this morning with major news from paris. The hunt for the worlds most wanted fugitive is over. The organizer of friday terror attacks was killed in yesterdays raid north of paris. The positive identification made through skin samples and finger print analysis. Investigators say Salah Abdeslam was also responsible for four attacks this spring in france that were foiled. He is suspected of trying to recruit women in spain to isis. His cousin was also killed in the raid when she detonated an explosive vest. And theres incredible video from a surveillance camera inside a paris cafe at the very moment of the attack. Its black and white footage. It captures the gunfire and chaos during the shooting. A man and a woman are talking at a table and you see glass rain down around them. Bruno sager flew back yesterday after cutting short his time as an Exchange Student for one month. He wanted to stay for the entie time but when his family learned that he was at the soccer match, they pleaded with him to return. Theres a manhunt right now in the language area after a Police Officer was found shot to death in the parking lot of a Police Station. Authorities say officer Ricardo Galvez wad found shot last night in the parking lot of the Downey Police headquarters just after 11 00 p. M. It appears that he was deliberately targeted by two suspects while sitting in his personal car. Another officer tried to chase the gunman. Police have sealed off several apartments in the neighboring city of montebello as they search for the suspects. Were still following developing news from the north bay. Were hearing reports that search crews will resume a search this morning for a missing person that reportedly fell into the napa river. Fax 2s brian flores is in the news room now. What do you know now, brian. I just got off the phone with the coast guard with ten minutes ago. I want to show you the search area were talking about in the search for the missing woman. The search has been focused near the napa valley marina, about two miles from the airport. As we go to live pictures from the scene now, it is from what we understand a little bit foggy. Also very cold out there this morning. That could hopefully not hinder the search efforts. I just got off the phone with the coast guard about 10 minutes ago. They say in 15 minutes a search helicopter will be in the area to look for the person who fell off a jet ski last night and did not return home. This helicopter will be taking off from the coast guard station in San Francisco. Want to go to video now of the crews searching for the missing person who the coast guard says is a 50yearold woman who lives along the napa river. About 8 15 last night she went into the river on her jet ski. Unclear why. About 10 00 last night, her roommate called Authorities Saying she did not return home. coast guard resources, a chp helicopter and the marine shores unit were all called in late last night to help find her. The coast guard also told me over the phone that the woman was known to wear a life jacket but its unclear if she was wearing one last night. New developments from morgan hill where fire crews rushed to a pair of hotels near highway 101. Fire Officials Say smoke was coming from near a pool at the courtyard marriott at madrone parkway. There was some kind of mechanical malfunction with the pool. The crews also investigated a fire alarm that went off at the residents inn next door. Somebody mistook steam from a shower for smoke. The Morgan Hill Fire Department posted this photo of the smoke on their facebook became. People are now being allowed back into the hotel rooms. Two months after the valley fire burned more than 75,000 acres up in lake county, people who live there now say they are suffering from health issues. The complaints come from those that live near the cleanup efforts where workers in hazard suits cyst through toxic ash every day. Corey warner says the majority of his patients are complaining of respiratory issues. About 40 of them had any issues before and those that did are seeing their symptoms exacerbated. Its been quite significant, the amount of patients were seeing come in. We cant underestimate that the cleanup efforts has recirculated dusts and solvents in the area and patients have complaint as far as breathing, asthma, allergies. Warner believes the area is safe but adds people with an underlying condition should try to stay away from cleanup sites. The air quality is good and says they have only received a few complaints. 7 09. A teenager still in the hospital this morning with life threatening injuries after being attacked over the weekend in berkeley. Police found the 16yearold boy unconscious about 5 00 p. M. On sunday near mabl e street. Suspects were arrested. Williams, rouse and aaron meredith. A 15yearold san leandro boy and a 17yearold berkeley boy were also arrested. Their names have not been released because theyre minors. Each are facing charges of attempted murder. Coming up on 7 10. Police say they think its a symbol of a group founded by a student of malcolm x. But they say theres no evidence that van wright meant to threaten the school or is connected to terrorism. Police are hoping selfies taken by a suspected thief will help lead to her arrest. Take a look. The woman in these photos punched and robbed a 15year old girl on her way home from school earlier this month. The thief then took off with her phone and backpack and the victim noticed selfies uploaded to the cloud and identified this woman as her attacker. Police are hoping someone will call with more information. There was a strange traffic jam on the bay bridge last night. A woman was walking in the middle of traffic in her underwear. These pictures posted on social media, she is in the middle of the screen, the woman ran into the lower deck of the bay bridge on the 5th street ramp about 6 00 last night. She was fully clothed at that point. But eventually started taking her clothes off. About 20 minutes later, the chp picked her up and took her to Highland High School in oakland and had a psychiatric examination. I hope she gets the help she needs.
