Claiming the conditions are so bad its putting Public Safety at risk. Many San Francisco dispatchers say they pull 16 hour shifts. Some of the reasons dispatchers are getting lured away to other Bay Area Agency where is they get paid more and the work is less stressful. According to national standards, the 911 center is supposed to answer 90 of its calls within 10 seconds. Right now, only 75 of the calls are answered in San Francisco. Extremely short staffed, we have been for the past several years. Call volume went up 37 the last few years. We had an increase in attrition. Now the workers are now asking the San Francisco board of supervisors to help them out. In the meantime, new employees are said to be going through training now, but that training takes a year to finish. The alleged victim who is now 23 years old came forward and told them he was abused i between the years 2006 and 2011. Thorpe was a counselor at the time at the Hannah Boys Center on arnold drive in sonoma. He is being held on 250,000 bail in the Sonoma County jail. After hearing closing arguments, the sequestered jurors spent 4 hours deliberating cosbys fate late monday. They ended up calling it a night without reaching a verdict. Cosby is accused of drugging and sexually assaulting a woman named Andrea Constand at his home back in 2004. The president says as pre dinged the 9th circuit ruled against the travel ban at such a dangerous time in the history of our country. East bay mud considering a dramatic increase in water rates. They are scheduled to meet this morning at the offices in oakland. East bay mud reportedly is proposing a 19 rate hike over two years. About a 4. 34 increase every month for households averaging 200 gallons of water a day. Today the board will set a public hearing and take a vote on this proposed rate hike on july 11th. Pg e meantime is under fire for cutting down dozens of redwood trees in one neighborhood in sunnyvale. Pg e said they have to cut them down because the roots could damage natural gas lines. They sit within ten feet of a main buried three and a half feet down. The removal is part of the Pipeline Safety initiative. All of this comes after the deadly san bruno pipeline explosion in 2010. While pg e says this is about safety, others say removing the trees will hurt their neighborhood. Neighborhood. With all of the trees come coming down coming down, the noise will be devastating. The Property Values could be devastated as well. This is one of the issues that youre balancing safety with the benefits that trees provide the community. We understand the communitys concern. A rock slide in Yosemite National park has closed and shut down an entrance about two miles inside of the park on the road also known as highway 140. Luckily no injuries have been reported.
