A muni official sent a memo letting them know about two separate last week. One was on tuesday and the other was on thursday. Those fires started on top of two electric buses. A poll overheated n. Both cases, the buses were evacuated and no one was hurt. According to the examiner, the buses that caught fire were almost 15 years old. Engineers are now inspecting 300 other electric buses and theyre replaces the connector polls that seem to have sparked the fires. This repair work is being done with only minimal delays and disruptions.
