Lets go back to the desk. We continue to follow breaking news from london. Thats where a huge fire is happening at a 24 story apartment building. At least six people have died. It started at one in the morning london time. Most of the 500 people who live in the building were at home asleep. More than 200 firefighters battled the flames. More than 70 people had to be taken to the hospital. The fire is believed to have started on the 4th floor and then spread quickly. People could be seen inside waving items trying to get help and screaming for help. There are reports of people jumping from windows. With in an hour it started spreading again. We saw people looking out the windows screaming help, screaming help, help, flashing their lights and everything and all those windows, people are gone. This is an unprecedented incident. In my 29 years of being a firefighter i have never, ever seen anything of this scale. There is no word on the cause of the fire. Residents say there had been construction on the building. Back here at home officials in the east bay say the driving Drinking Water has seen a sharp increase in cancer causing compounds. Levels almost violate federal health standards. The drought could be to blame. The report said that low water flows and the hot temperatures led to more impurities in the water so contamination that is a by product of the chlorine went out. The two areas with the highest level are in lafayette and the berkeley hills. East bay mud is considering spends millions to refine their treatment procedures or change the equipment at some of the water plants. The governor and top lawmakers have announced they have reached a deal on a new state budget. After an Investigation Police determine that he was not an immigrations agent but someone who lives near the church. We are learning that Jeff Sessions wants to crack down on medical marijuana. He wrote a letter to some members of Congress Asking them to remove federal protections to prevent the department of justice from going after medical marijuana patients and clinics. The department is banned from spending federal money to prosecute medical marijuana use. Medical marijuana is legal in 30 states. The Trump Administration won a small battle in that continuing legal fight over the president s travel ban. The Supreme Court gave the white house more time until next wednesday to file legal papers. The president wants restrictions on travelers from six countries. White house lawyers said they needed more time to respond to a ruling on monday by the Appeals Court in San Francisco. The new ruling gives them until next wednesday to submit its final brief.
