Lets go back to the desk. New developments in last nights freeway shooting in richmond that injured a 2year old boy. It happened on i880. A female teenager and a man in his 20s they were the intended targets. They were hurt in the shooting. The little boy was in another car with two adults and two children. A stray bullet hit the window, shattered glass hit the child. The chp says the two intended targets were treated add a hospital with nonlife threatening injuries. As of now, no suspects. Since november, there have been five shootings on i80. A 6th shooting happened near the freeway on Richmond City street. Two people were killed in these attacks. The chp says the shootings are not random but they dont know if they are connected and some may be gang related. Alex savidge will have a live report on this at 7 30. Two back to back fires on the same street. The first was on sonoma boulevard at 1 30. The second just before 2 00 at the animal advocates veterinarian hospital. Both fires occurred outside and no one was hurt. The fate of the Oakland Raiders may be decided at a meeting of nfl team owners that starts today in texas. The owners will discuss the possibilities of the raiders, the chargers and or is rams moving to los angeles. Janine de la vega is live in santa clara with what fans are saying. Reporter the nfl owners and league officials, they are meeting in houston today to discuss the fate of the Oakland Raiders, the san diego chargers, and the st. Louis rams. And theres an early report that shows there is a growing consensus that the owners are favoring a plan to keep the raiders in the bay area and part of the reason is levis stadium that you can see behind me. The l. A. Times is reporting that the owners are favoring a plan to move the rams and the chargers to l. A. And have them share a stadium at the englewood site. That would leave the raiders to build their own stadium or share the levis stadium with the 49ers. The chargers owner has publicly said hes committed to their plan to build a new stadium in carson with the chargers. Weve been working on it for over a year. And worked hard on it. Whatever the decision of the owners is, well abide by it. The raiders proposal needs support from 24 of the 32 owners to be approved. The fact that levis stadium could accommodate the raiders may factor in. A deal would need to be worked out with the niners. Theyll hopeful theyll consider the rich history and weigh the city or cities they are willing to abandon. Raiders fans will be watching what the nfl owners do. A vote is not expected today. It happened in the Historic District of the city that includes the famous blue mosque. There are reports that a blast was probably caused by a suicide bomber. In addition to the 10 people killed, 15 more were hurt. Also new this morning, were getting a look at the aftermath of a huge attack on a Shopping Mall in baghdad. Look at these pictures. 18 people were killed, 50 others were hurt. Witnesses say the attackers first set off a car bomb at the entrance to the mall and gunmen stormed inside shooting at people before setting off suicide bombs. Islamic state terror group claimed responsibility for the attack. San francisco supervisor david campos will introduce a resolution offering a public apology to the family of mario woods. Woods was the 26yearold africanamerican shot and killed by San Francisco police last month. Supervisor campos says his resolution calls for july 22nd, mario woods birthday, to be declared mario woods remembrance day. Officers say woods was a stabbing suspect and had a knife with him during the confrontation with police. Fremont police are announcing that a teenager who disappeared 33 years ago may have been a victim of foul play. He was 14 years old when he left his home october 5, 1982. Officers thought he may have been a runaway. And Fremont Police are investigating leads that indicate he did not runaway. Investigators wont comment on what prompted the change. And according to the examiner, Vicki Hennessy is working with Legal Advisers to rescind a memo by the former sheriff. The memo advised officials not to cooperate with immigration authorities when they are freed without a court order. During the Campaign Hennessy said he would prefer to look at it on a case by case basis. The policy came under fire following the shooting death of a woman by an undocumented immigrant who is a convicted felon. Hes boycotting the undercard debate. He calls it a mistake that hes not being included in the main event. Right now the race for the republican nomination is increasingly looking like its between ted cruz and donald trump. Donald trump has been challenging cruise on american citizenship and Hillary Clinton over the past of her husband. If i win and she wins, its going to be the largest voter turnout in the history of the country and thats a good thing. Meantime, Hillary Clinton is trying to close the so called Enthusiasm Gap between her and her rival vermont senator bernie sanders. Senator sanders continues to attract huge crowds. And in the peninsula were looking good. 101 and 280, a nice commute into the silicon valley. We do have plenty of breaks in the clouds and theyll slowly increase throughout the day. And rain tonight into tomorrow morning. And the morning commute fine, everything is all right. If you have to get going right now. 40s and 50s will give way to partly cloudy and mostly cloudy skies. Mexicos military released video of when they raided the hideout of escaped mexican drug lord el chapo that led to his arrest. [gunshots] this incredible video is from the helmet cameras worn by Mexican Marines during the raid. Six of el chapos gang were killed. Guzman escaped through a secret passage and was captured a short time later. Hes back in the same maximum security prison he escaped from six months ago. Someone broke through padlocks and threw red paint around and destroyed the snack bar. Look at this. The snack bar is the biggest source of income for the league. The vandals broke into the equipment shed and stole everything. The batting cages are bent almost beyond recognition. They need the equipment to practice.
