More than 200 firefighters battled the flames. At least 50 were taken to the hospital. The fire is believed to have started on the 4th floor and then spread quickly. Residents say there had been construction on the building including some metal that was installed to the outside. Officials at a Water Utility say the amount of compounds in the Drinking Water that could cause cancer have gone up in recent years. They said levels are close to violating federal standards. According to the report released yesterday the drought could be to blame. Low water flows and high temperatures led to more impurity in water. So contamination increased. The two area was the highest levels were in lafayette and the berkeley hills. They are considering spending millions to try to refine procedures. The governor and the states top lawmakers announced a deal on a new state budget. The 125 billiondollar budget expands tax credits for working families. It also speeds up spending for road repair and mass transit projects and it gives doctors and dentists more money if they provide publicly funded health care. This new budget would also give another 3. 2 billion to schools and Community Colleges and another 1. 8 billion would go to the states reserve fund. The final approval is expected thursday, tomorrow. The administrator said that gap will have to be made up with spending cuts and revenue increases. A man in marin put on a fake ice jacket and went to a Latino Church service where worshipers were stunned to see him. One of the people managed to get video of that man. After an Investigation Police determined he was not an immigration agent but he was someone who lives near the church. He was sentenced to 15 years hard labor in north korea after officials there say that he was caught taking down a propaganda poster at a hotel. A nationwide manhunt is underway for two escaped Prison Inmates who shot two Prison Guards in georgia. It happened tuesday morning. The two were on a prison transfer bus with 33 others when they managed to grab the guns from the guards. They shot two guards and left. They are identified as a 24 yearold ricky debois and 43 yearold Donnie Russell row. Investigators say they were spotted in a nearby town where they broke into a home and changed clothes.
