Were also hearing from people who survived that fire. We talked to one woman who escaped from the first floor. I woke up because there was smoke everywhere. I woke up and my entire space was filled with smoke and i looked over and could see this orange glow and i got on my coat and my shoes and i got up out of my Space Special teams i look and theres and i look and theres just a wall of fire well over 8 feet high and i just started heading for the front door. I was already getting dizzy and lightheaded and i was calling for help but it felt like, you know, nobody could hear me and the music was going and i just sort of went straight for the front door and managed to get outside and other people were starting to come out and look at what was going on. I started to call 911 and about a minute after i got out of the building, the power went out. The people who did get out ran to the Fire Department to get help. The Fire Department says they arrived in just three minutes. Were getting a sense of what the warehouse looked like before the fire started. Photographer evan sent us photos. Take a look. He took these on october 30 during a concert inside the warehouse. It shows very small spaces packed with furniture, clocks, and pianos. Oakland Police Investigating two weekend shooting that happened within a block of each other. The most recent one just after 11 00 last night near 92nd avenue and sunny side street. No information act the victims. The other shooting happened Early Saturday Morning just a block us an extra way in the 9300 block of sunny side. One person hurt but that person is expected to recover. A suspect has been identified but not arrested as yet. Police arent saying if the two shootings are connected. Well, two firefighters are recovering after being hurt in a house fire near redwood city. The fire started about 2 30 yesterday afternoon on vista drive in the Emerald Hills neighborhood. Firefighters suffered burns to their faces and a possible explosion in a possible explosion during this fire. Theyre still investigating what may have exploded. According to the Fire Departments twitter page, those injured firefighters suffered minor injuries. Both are doing okay. No one was at home when that fire started. The cause of it is under investigation. Four people arrested in connection with another burglary at abe area apple store. This one happened on University Avenue in palo alto about 4 30 yesterday morning. One of the people arrested was 19 yearold shaqein ferguson and he was one of ten people who ran into the store moments after an suv drove through the glass windows in front. Police also arrested 18 year old erica white of oakland and two boys 16, and 17 years old. Officers found an abandoned suv in front of the store and a second vehicle across the street filled with stolen Apple Computers and phones. Police say they do not know if this burglary is relited to the other re related to the other recent thefts at other apple stores. Appears apple may be ready to enter the field of self driving cars and they said theyre excited about the potential of Automated Systems in area including transportation. They should be included under the same federal regulations on testing selfdriving cars on public roads. Its unclear if apple is developing its own car or technology for other cars. We do know the names of eight of the fire victim. Were told they range in age from 17mid 30s. Alameda county Sheriffs Office says it is not still clear how many people were in the building when it caught fire. Search teams only able to get through about 40 percent of the warehouse. Very difficult. Its like a labyrinth inside. They dont know how many more bodies could be found. We found crews at the scene of the warehouse fire announced they wont be doing any work at the scene till about noontime.
