Yesterday a jury found 25yearold stefan lee and 24 yearold mario floyd guilty of firstdegree murder in the killing of judy solomon. The 66yearold woman had taken cell phone video of the two gang members as they were committing a crime in her maxwell park neighborhood in july 2013. Investigators say she was shot and killed after she followed the two men in her car. It was clear that ms. Solomon was focused on protecting the community and in this particular case protecting the community is why these two men took her life because whatever they were doing it was worth murdering her in their minds. Solomon was a popular dog walker known for her efforts to combat crime in her oakland neighborhood. New information about in oakland house fire last night that was first reported on the 10 a clock news. The Oakland Fire Department said 18 people lost their homes in the fire. The first emergency call at 6 24 last night. The fire was under control about half an hour later. The gutted building was separated into four residential units.
