They want the city held accountable. Now this all stems from this Class Action Lawsuit stems from a protest in june that turned chi yachtic chaotic after a donald trump rally ended. Juan hernandez suffered a broken nose. He is among 14 people suing the city of san jose, mayor sam liccardo, and police chief garcia. More than 250 Police Officers were there but failed to protect them. Not necessarily for the compensation but its Holding Someone accountable for what happened. Standing by watching people get attacked. It wasnt okay. Reporter mayor liccardo didnt directly comment on the lawsuit. But says there is no place for violence in our political process or city. The ludicrous accusation that i directed the Police Department to stand down at the rally is utterly false. San jose police have identified and arrested 20 suspect. They dont have names yet. Human contact is being kept at a minimum. The bears will stay in tahoe through the year and will even go into hibernation.
