Investigators say they are confident that there were only two shooters at this point. Both were later killed in a gun battle with police. They have been identified. And 27yearold malik. Relatives say they are married. And workers say he traveled to saudi arabia earlier this year and returned with a wife presumably, malik. They say that she was a pharmacist. San bernadino police say they are still looking for a motive in the shooting. And this is cell phone video in which you just heard a Police Officer leading survivors to safety. The workers with their hands raised walked through the complex whispering nervously. Hi, pam. We have been hearing some very emotional accounts from survivors. People who worked at the inland regional complex and who barricaded in office for hours. One kid was once it was safe for people to leave their offices and buildings several hours after the ordeal began. And to be reunited with anxious family members. Some of them recounted experiences like one woman who said she and 50 of her do workers lay on the floor of their office for hours. And. I was just numb. I was in disbelief. I called my kids and said if something happens to me, there was a shooting here. Just be safe. What else can i do . People waiting not that Community Center say some of their loved ones inside the womennings were able to briefly call and text them during the chaos of the shooting. She was whispering, and she said they were in the room and locked up. And that you think that you are in another building. She was going to turn off the lights, and then he 14 had to go because i dont think they wanted to talk. I dont think she wanted to get shot. Every year, the allameda Sheriffs Department larges a major exercise called urban shield. The purpose is to bring together local, state, and federal First Responders and learn how to deal with emergency situations such as Mass Shootings. We talked to allameda county sheriff Sergeant Nelson and he describes what it is like to arrive at the scene of a fluid and possibly deadly confrontation. Law enforcement has to figure out, you know, who the players are in a situation. You have to get witnesses, try to get them to the site. If you have suspects, youre going to have to encounter them. The San FranciscoPolice Commission has approved in you rules by the use of body worn cameras by officer. The president of the San FranciscoPolice OfficerAssociation Says the rules adopted last night will allow officers to view the video for daytoday incident reports.
