Kirsten andereck walked into court yesterday with her head down, arms folded, police say she hit the 12yearold boys in a crosswalk on bay street in the marina last week. They were walking to nearby marina middle school. Both boys suffered brain injuries and broken bones. They are expected to survive but a spokesperson says one is quote, in bad shape. Kirsten and her family are heartbroken over the boys. This has been an exceptionally Emotional Experience for kirsten. Andereck is a former teacher out on bail pick the judge ordered her to wear an alcohol monitoring device and has barred her from driving. Neighbors have complained about speeding drivers where that crash occurred. Officials have put in stop signs. A watsonville man was arrested after Officials Say he admitted to playing counterfeit xanax to one of the men who died. Daniel meehan was arrested. Two men died late last month after taking what they thought was xanax. The pills actually contained fentanyl, a powerful synthetic opiate. Deputies served a search warrant. They say they recovered some of the lethal pills. They also found a quarter pound of cocaine, four firearms including an illegal assault rifle. Authorities say they recovered 80 Marijuana Plants and meehan is facing multiple felony charges. Adidas is offering to help with changing of the mascot at a Northern California high school. A San Francisco<\/a> woman pled not guilty to dui charges in a crash that seriously injured two boys. Weve been following this story since the beginning. Kirsten andereck walked into court yesterday with her head down, arms folded, police say she hit the 12yearold boys in a crosswalk on bay street in the marina last week. They were walking to nearby marina middle school. Both boys suffered brain injuries and broken bones. They are expected to survive but a spokesperson says one is quote, in bad shape. Kirsten and her family are heartbroken over the boys. This has been an exceptionally Emotional Experience<\/a> for kirsten. Andereck is a former teacher out on bail pick the judge ordered her to wear an alcohol monitoring device and has barred her from driving. Neighbors have complained about speeding drivers where that crash occurred. Officials have put in stop signs. A watsonville man was arrested after Officials Say<\/a> he admitted to playing counterfeit xanax to one of the men who died. Daniel meehan was arrested. Two men died late last month after taking what they thought was xanax. The pills actually contained fentanyl, a powerful synthetic opiate. Deputies served a search warrant. They say they recovered some of the lethal pills. They also found a quarter pound of cocaine, four firearms including an illegal assault rifle. Authorities say they recovered 80 Marijuana Plants<\/a> and meehan is facing multiple felony charges. Adidas is offering to help with changing of the mascot at a Northern California<\/a> high school. Calaveras High School Mascot<\/a> will be officially banned in january of 2017. A new state law prevents the name redskins for Public School<\/a> teams and mascots. The School District<\/a> superintendent says the scoreboard, uniforms and other things at the school will have to be replaced. At about 11 00 last night a man and woman were found shot in a car on the side of that freeway. The man was pronounced dead at the hospital. The woman suffered nonlifethreatening injuries.
