One driver we talked to this morning says hes really not surprised by these latest findings. You are looking down at your phone down here. If you had it up here or had to make a quick text. If you are sitting at a stoplight, but when they force you to hide, you know, thats when youre making your mistakes. You are not looking at the road. Reporter there was also a similar study done in the bay area last year and in that case, researchers tracked drivers brain activity and eye movement and found using voice commands is one of the most distracting things you can do on the road.
