It was an early wakeup call not only for us but for the thousands of the runners. The elites took off at 5 30. The last of the runners that are were starting the 5k took off. Theyre pretty efficient. Theyre taking down the start line. The finish line is just a few hundred feet beyond us. But let me show you video of the start of the race. Two, one, go. A wild fire near the town of plymouth. That fire has burned about 4,000 acres. Right now its 20 contained. Five homes and several other build vaccination been destroyed. The fire tripled in size yesterday. The first full day it burned. Firefighters say it is a combination of dry, hot weather and steep terrain thats making it so tough to put out. Fremont police say they were forced to break a car window to get to a 6monthold baby inside. Police say the mother had accidently locked her baby inside the car at the time it was hot and the sun was streaming directly on to the childs face.
