Now, mehserles attorney, michael reign, has said that grant himself stole the relationship when he when he committed murder and was sent to prison. Grants mother has been serving a life sentence for a 1985 murder. He has been in prison since before he was born. He talked to him by phone on a monthly basis as an adult. Its really heartbreaking for me to see that reigns is out telling folks there was no bond or relationship between the two of them. Thats not true. Just because somebody is incarcerated doesnt mean they dont love their relative. Reporter now, last month, b. A. R. T. San Francisco Police investigating an earlymorning homicide in the tenderloin district. An emergency call came in around midnight on turk street. When police arrived, they found a person had been shot to death. Investigators are handling the case now with the homicide group. They have not told us the name of the victim as yet. Were also finding out more about the richmond mother facing murder charges tied to an amber alert face. 35yearold alicia ortez is accused of killing her estranged husband then abducting their three children. Ktvu news learned she got a restraining order against her husband last year claiming domestic abuse. A judge lifted the order last month. Now, ortez and a male companion are facing murder charges. There will probably be oobl charges but at this point were mainly focusing on the homicide itself and bringing the children to a safe place. Police say those children were in the custody of their father at the time of that deadly shooting. The abdukd prompted a statewide abduction prompted a statewide amber alert. The children are safe. Its illegal to be in front of schools and daycare within 1,000 feet, hours of the clubs would be curtailed and they would have to grow their marijuana in or adjacent to Santa Clara County and the marijuana would have to be processed within the city limits of san jose.
