Police say a man in his 40s was driving a bmw on northbound 880 when he lost control and flipped over to the southbound side. He crashed into a man in his 70s driving a honda crv. Both people died. It appears the driver of the bmw was going more than 100 mile an hour. Lets take a live look at the bay bridge. The metering lights are on. This victim was found on gardener avenue. This is right behind Lawrence Cook middle school. This young man was rushed to santa rosa Memorial Hospital although police are telling us that he is expected to survive his injuries. The teenager told police he was confronted by this group and then attacked. Punched, kicked, and stabbed by a group of seven or eight people. Police say they were all gang members. He reported that seven to eight subjects had more or less jumped him and challenged him about his gang affiliation and proceeded to punch, kick, and stab him multiple times. Homes have been flattened and levels and reduced to a pile of rubble. People are able to get back in today to assess the damage and really see if there is anything that salvageable. Authorities confirmed six people have been killed. This town of about 10,000 people was almost destroyed as the storms ripped through washington, illinois. The man in this video prayers as the tornado engulfs houses. In just two communities the storms destroyed at least 70 homes. Rescuers worked sunday to reach people trapped under the rubble. Workers have begun removing radio active fuel rods from one of four Nuclear Reactors at the plant. It is expected to take five years to remove all of those fuel rods and it could be decades before the plant is fully decommissioned. In about an hour the ss mount walk will be moved to San Francisco from its home in the bay reserve fleet. That departure scheduled for some time about 7 30.
