A man hunt across several states was under way to find Steve Stevens. Acting on a tip Pennsylvania Police spotted stevens. They say officers tried to pull him over. He refused and after a brief pursuit stevens had shot and killed himself. After being accused of shooting and killing 74yearold Robert Godwin. Announcing his plan to kill someone and two minutes later he posted another video of the deadly shooting. Now investigators would not speculate on what was behind the killing but in the video stevens posted he talked about losing everything he had to gambling and having trouble with his girlfriend. Three accusers in two different killings in the bay area are set to be sentenced today. They have both pleaded guilty in the shooting deaths of a backpacker and a hiker in marin county. 50 years or olliegood. That same defendant testified against his two former friends. Sean angle is expected to be sentenced to 15 years. In Sonoma County deputies are searching for a man accused of trying to rape a woman while she was out jogging. And today there are signs posted on the trail sign from the Sheriffs Department warning them about the attack. She kept running but says the man came up from behind knocked her to the ground punched her several times and then tried to rape her. The woman fought him off and was able to run away and call 911. The person who did this he was a white male. He had a gray beard with gray hair. He was wearing a black sweatshirt and a black beanie cap.
