Chief from the Fire Department to see how it unfolded. People who live out here could see the big plume of black smoke billowing from miles away. The report of the fire was that one of the Engine Companies doing an inspection, they saw the column of smoke and we were on scene in a short amount of time. First report from them was at 11 07. When they arrived on the scene, they had heavy fire conditions coming from the twostory building. Everyone was able to get out safely before crews arrived. There were people redirected to come out of the building and relocate across the street. Theres quite a bit of stuff in their garage. I dont know if they were hoarders or whatever going on, but it makes it difficult to get in and fight the fire. Its quite a safety concern for officers looking at the housekeeping of the building. You have to imagine if a firefighter was in that environment tripping over hazards, running into piles of debris or stuff, its a safety concern. They did a good job. These are attached homes, its another challenge to deal with if you want to get in quickly and you were able to do that in this case. Were getting into the buildings on either side to make sure fire doesnt extend into the buildings. We want to mention that there are two families displaced here. There are 13 adults that will no longer get back inside of their homes as well as two children. The homes were talking about, this was the one to the left also suffered some smoke damage they had to get out well stay on top of the story and let you know how it develops. Arson investigators trying to determine how it started. Live in the sunset district. Police are trying to track down whoever shot and killed a man outside of a first Communion Party. We spoke to investigators late this morning, live about the victim. He was in his 20s according to police. Whats unclear is that if the young man was attending this Party Happening last night at the Senior Community senior across the parking lot from us. That young man found shot to Death Outside of the center in what investigators describe as a targeted attack. It happened around 7 30 last night. Police got several 911 calls about shots fired. When officers got here, they found a car crash at the intersection of east 14th and 138th avenue and immediately after, they were told about the shooting victim near by. That car accident happened when a gray minivan sped from the Senior Center parking lot and collided with an suv. According to a witness, two young man carrying handguns were seen running from the crashed minivan. Those folks are still out standing at this point and police are trying to figure out if the minivan was connected to the killing we do not have anyone that has come forward to say if its their van at this time, but were interested to speaking to the owner of the vehicle and whoever was in the vehicle last night. Hopefully that will help us identify who may be responsible for the horrific about. Police say that last night it was a family that rented out the Senior Center for the first Communion Party where about 100 people were on hand. Its unclear if the victim was in attendance or not. Tonight, the Pittsburgh City council expected to install surveillance cameras along highway 4 after half dozen shootings in 11 months it was last wednesday, it killed a 25yearold, a mother of four, the city council will debate on whether to spend 100,000 on the surveillance cameras. Police are investigating a shooting on l street. The shooting was reported at 7 30 p. M. Police say that the man suffered a single gunshot wound and the condition is not known. They have not said what the motive may have been. They are asking anyone with information about the shooting to call police. A hundred thousand dollars reward has been reissued in a homicide case. The Police Department says that Applied Materials is offering a reward with the 1994 killing of matthew, killed in the parking lot of allied materials where he just started working ten days earlier. He was shot while getting out of the vehicle and was a 26yearold husband and father. Matts family reached out and i agreed with the passage of time it was appropriate to revisit the case. By brought in a trauma surgeon who was at the fort hood shooting. Training responders as to how to deal with such injuries and Emergency Planning in some sort of a terrorist type event. A couple on vacation in maine rescued a family of five and a man with special needs in a river. They were flying over the river in a sea plane when they saw a man sinking in the paddle boat. They tried to tow it back to shore but it was too heavy and the second boats engine ripped off, both capsized leaving all in the water. Thats when buckly jumped in and they called 911. I used a float and pushed it out and had him get on that and pulled him to the shore. Its so important that the people got out as quickly as possible because it was so cold. Everyone made it out safely, they were at the right place at the right time. The Group Already has seen an abnormally amount of coyote pups this year. These guys were orfans. They came to the Wildlife Rescue in scottsdale from tucson. We have two coyote pups about 35 weeks old. These two were rescued by a valley man. That man was out hiking and saw a dead coyote on the side of the path and had a gunshot wound. A little later, he heard some weird noises and discovered that this coyote had these pups and are now orfans the rescue is receiving an unusually high number of pups. While staff and volunteers will care for them, she wants people to be aware of what to do if they come across the litter. If theyre hiking or just out in the yard and hear some noises and see a litter of coyotes or bob cats, sometimes the first instinct is to save them. Moms leave their babies for long periods of time. Investigating a deadly shooting. It happened near market avenue in north richmond, the 26yearold man died at the hospital, his name has not been released. Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriffs office. 13 men were arrested at a prostitution crack down around the city. The journal says that all of the men responded. One of the men was arrested for possession of cocaine. Two women suspected of being at one of the hotels were offered social suffers and they turned down the offer. This afternoon, were learning more information about the fire in the south bay. As fox two reports, now there is concern about the stability of that building. A fouryearold boy drowned in an apartment complex Swimming Pool it came in around 4 30 with the caller saying that the little boy was at the bottom of the pool they believe he slipped off of a kick board and went underwater.
