Police are investigating another Early Morning crash that claimed the life of a 26yearold man. They believe speed is a factor. They say speeding in the area is an ongoing concern. When we first arrived on scene, a man walked up to me and said he is too tired to hear the deadly accidents on this street. Traffic has been moving here and the road reopened for several hours. When we spoke with police, they say they are concerned, too. In terms of the latest crash. It happened before three this morning on hillcrest drive in between laurel road and Country Hills drive. The driver identified so far as a 26yearold man from richmond. He was driving too fast and impacting the Center Median and wrapping around a tree. There is a lot of damage on the passenger side of what Police Describe as a chrysler four door car. The posted speed limit on hillcrest avenue is 45 miles an hour. Police didnt know for certain how fast he was driving and they do say speed played a role. It is unclear if there were other factors involved in the crash. They removed the body of the man before 6 45 this morning. They did close off the area of hillcrest avenue for civil hours as they investigated. I am brian flores. Fox two news. We will do our best to post them. Investigators are trying to determine what caused a dump truck full of hot asphalt to slam into into a home in sausalito. This happened on lower crescent avenue. The truck rolled backwards down a hill and crashed into the garage of the home. The truck driver was able to jump out of the truck before the crash. He did suffer a broken arm and the homeowners. They were inside when this all happened. They were not hurt. We were sitting very quietly. And i heard this crash. And i said to my husband. Honey, somebody, a truck has rolled down the hill and smacked into our garage. The garage of that home was knocked off its foundation. But fire Officials Say it looks like the rest of the home was not damaged. The truck has now been removed. Chp officers are looking for a driver who hit and killed a man and drove away.
