Do we know how many shots were fired in all . No, but i counted at least a dozen. Of those little yellow markers out there. And those were just the ones that were in the street. So its entirely possible that this could have been a shoot out scenario. But i can tell you they were very large caliber bullets. When they hit that truck, they dug into that truck and they put a very big hole there. So whatever happened, we dont know. But plenty of bullets were fired and they were large caliber bullets. When you say large caliber, Assault Rifle . Or just a large weapon . A large handgun . Assault rifles are actually fairly small. This was more like a 45 caliber slug. Thats a big bullet. And it would be perfectly in line with some sort of a handgun in somebody got into some sort of a shoot out because those are easy to conceal opposed to an Assault Rifle which is a long gun. There have been at least four suspicious fires at construction sites in the east bay during the last year. Ktvus Christina Rondon joins us live from the news room with that part of the story. Christina . All these fires happened at construction sites. In fact, an apartment complex under construction in emeryville was hit twice. Once in july of last year. And again this past may. That fire is believed to be the work of an arsonist. Witnesses saw a man riding a bike on to the side shortly before that fire erupted. There were also two other fires deemed suspicious in oakland. Both at Apartment Buildings under construction. There is some speculation that some or all of the fires could be the work of an arsonist upset about gentryification and the rising cost of rent. A housing activist said the series of fires is concerning especially in a city lacking Affordable Housing. Slow going there in the commute direction on the right heading up toward albany. First came the public handshakes then more than two hours of discussion behind closed doors. President trump meeting with russian president Vladimir Putin in germany and addressing russian interference in the 2016 election. Some mixed messages tonight following that first meeting. Both sides say that putin denied any election interference. But russias foreign minister added that President Trump quote accepted those assurances, and there were signs of progress in the war in syria. Fox News ReporterLauren Blanchard has more now in washington dc tonight. Good evening, lauren. Hey heather, the president s meeting with his russian counterpart lasted so long at one point the first lady went in about an hour in to try to wrap it up. But even she couldnt break up the two leaders. Its an honor to be with you. President trump and russian president Vladimir Putin meeting on the sidelines of the g20 summit for the very first time. The World Leaders two hour meeting far exceeding initial plans for a much briefer 30 minute talk. The chaos not preventing russia and the United States from announcing the two nations reached an agreement for a ceasefire in southwest syria. A major step toward resolving the years long civil war in that troubled nation. At the end of the day, we dont have a lot in common with russia. But we do have some interest in common with russia. Also tomorrow after the g20 summit wraps up, President Trump will head home back here to washington dc. Heather, frank . Lauren, republicans think that President Donald Trump did a good job today. What about democrats . Well, they do not. So Chuck Schumer, he came out, senator Chuck Schumer said this agree to disagree is not an actual conclusion. They think this puts the u. S. In a weak spot. So democrats are not buying it. Lauren in washington tonight. Lauren, thank you. Lets talk more about this facetoface meeting with u. S. F political Professor James taylor. You know what democrats are saying. You know what republicans are saying. Whats your take away from todays meeting. I think donald trump projected himself on the global stage. And so far so good. Hes not done anything to truly embarrass himself or the country. He at least has a presence in the room with putin. But again theres a lot of questions that are still up in the air about what the role of putin was putin himself. Not just the russians but putin himself in the surveillance or you know spying on our elections and so this is beyond simply addressing the issue sort of pro forma. We need to get to the substance of Vladimir Putin, did you give an order to spy on the american elections and influence it . Looking at the big picture here, what does this mean for u. S. Russian relations. It resets it. Hillary clinton tried to reset it. Barack obama tried to reset it. It didnt work after crimea. Donald trump is trying something different. Its unconventional but he understands as republicans did before that theres a real problem ignoring Vladimir Putin because hes determined to assert himself in the world. And until the americans figure out a way to tamper Vladimir Putins influence. And right now he has the charisma on the world scene, were going to be a junior partner. Lets talk about how Rex Tillerson described the meeting. He called it constructive. Both leaders possessing positive chemistry. But he also said that he felt like the two agreed not to relitigate u. S. Russia past. The past is five months ago. The past is six months ago. Hes talking about the past is our recent election. Theres no past. Hes not talking 50 to 70 years ago. Or the cold war. Hes talking five months ago and the involvement in the elections. I dont think this can be dismissed so simply. How did Vladimir Putin come away thinking about President Trump. I dont think he takes trump seriously. His people said over the course of the months that he doesnt take trump seriously. Trump admires Vladimir Putin. Theres no mutuality there. I think until Trump Realizes hes not being taken seriously by Vladimir Putin it will be a problem. What did the men discuss when it came to syria and north korea. What comes out of that after this meeting today . Cooperation, i think china is concerned ability what it implies for its role in the world. They didnt talk about climate change. It weakened Angela Merkel in the global scene. Now that you have this alliance, theres a whole new world order out there. And donald trump and putin have constructed this in the last few months. So were in a whole new world. Thank you. Senator Diane Feinstein was in the bay area today meeting with patients and families at the childrens hospital. Senator feinstein urged voters to take action against the gops health care bill. Get on your phone. And call as many republicans as you can. There is no democrat in the United States senate that will vote for this bill. It will be 51 republicans or nothing. And i think were very close to defeating it. Senator feinstein says the bill will gut medicaid and harm children. To pay for tax cuts for the wealthiest americans. Lawmakers are hoping to have a new version of the bill to vote on when they return to washington next week. Republicans cant afford to lose any votes if they want the legislation to pass before the july 4th recess. Nine republicans voiced their opposition to that bill. Okay we want to bring you some breaking news. This is coming to us from butte county. And here are live pictures folks of a structure. It looks like to me that its a home going up in flames. But right now this fire at around 500acres and as we watch, several structures being consumed. Lets turn things over to our meteorologist. We did see temperatures increase in bay area.
