ahead. new details on a new year's eve homicide. the coroner's office has identified that victim as 56 year-old frederick ferguson of antioch. police were called to a report of a shooting at the delta pine apartments on sycamore drive saturday night. when they got there, they found ferguson as well as 20-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds. ferguson was pronounced dead at the scene and the other man was taken to the hospital with non- life-threatening injuries. no information about a suspect or motive. an 18-year-old santa rosa woman died last night in a suspected drunk-driving crash. police said that mckara was a passenger in a car driven by a 19-year-old also from santa rosa. they say the car that they were in crashed into a tree. one person suffered minor injuries and the other person was pronounced dead at the scene. the driver is believed to be under the influence of alcohol and drugs and arrested on the charges of drunk driving and vehicular manslaughter. one month since the deadly ghost ship fire and the burned outbuilding serves at a reminder. the changes that need to be made to ensure the safety of the art community living in similar conditions. the man viciously their two story remodel a few stories down from eddy's house was vulnerable. >> we walked down the street and came back a half hour later and someone had gone through the stuff and ransacked and say it happened yesterday morning on south maple avenue. officers say the suspect is a registered sex offender currently on parole. the monterey county sheriff's office continues to search for that young couple from southern california that did not return from a christmas weekend to big sur. 20 year-old olivia gonzalez and 21 brian fernandez left and were supposed to return home but never showed up. family members have handed out flyers hoping that someone has seen something. she is never without her phone. it has me worried that they are not responding to anyone and letting anyone know how they are doing or where they are located at. i am hoping that they are two young adults that wanted to be off of the map for a little bit. investigators say the couple was traveling in a four door tan colored honda civic. we have an update to a story we brought you next week about a working mom and her 10 year-old son. victoria and her son war living in a car and unable to afford the sky high rent. on the night of december 13th, a sonoma county legislature showed up on a welfare check. victoria thought they were going to take her son but instead they talked about learning about her situation and that's when the deputy association set up a go fund me site. the goal was to fix her car and get her rent money. the last check was they have raised more than 19, $450. some folks that did not have
