>> there are couple of things. obviously what happened this past week with mrs. clinton's health probably had a little bit of impact. mr. trump had some opportunities that he didn't take complete advantage. i think the biggest thing that has happened is mrs. clinton's campaign has lost a little bit of momentum. if you are looking at the polls, it's very clear that this raises tightening into what is basically a time. -- eight high -- a tie. of the we can look at a two- person race we will not have a two-person race. we have a four-person race and when you see that neither of the two leading candidates are getting close to 50%. it's a tight race and i think the biggest explanation has to do with the fact that both of the candidates are also strongly disliked by a lot of voters. the fact that there is a tight expresses some of the frustration.>> it's been about three weeks since donald trump retooled his campaign, have you noticed any difference? >> unquestionably. if he had given into his impulse which is to attack mrs. clinton on a daily basis, to make more out of this house/you -- issue, he probably would've done more damage to himself. he has to be mindful of not appearing to be a bully. you can't approach these debates or campaigning in a general election against hillary clinton the way that you did against other candidates. that was street fighting and this will have to be more nuanced. he has sounded softer and more gentle. i think that is very clearly this campaign keeping him on point. it was smart when he said he wanted to talk about the health of the economy is that of his health. -- instead of his health.>> he went after the female minister where she tried to stop him from politicizing the event. he seemed to demurrer to hermit -- to her. hillary clinton jumped on that remark. when he goes off script is a good for hillary to call them out?
