jake hobby year celebrated the last day of school at a pool party near the school. the 6'4" senior had been named athlete of the year and planned to play football next year at san luis obispo. it took students held a vigil at the school for his recovery. several other students waited outside the hospital. the news of his paralysis shocked everyone. >> i've known the dude for so long. since he was a kid to college but all.>> reporter: he faces a long recovery in the hospital. >> they fused parts of his spine and neck in a possibly will go in for another surgery tomorrow depending on the mri results. >> reporter: before he went into surgery, he told his teammates this -- >> he is strong. his head is all there and [ indiscernible ]. >> reporter: his family says it could be another two coast. the national weather service has issued a red light warning saturday through sunday. most people won't be impacted by this but fairfield, vacaville up into the higher elevations of cimmaron county so these are the forecast highs for tomorrow which are very similar to the forecast highs on sunday. and the five day forecast right there. is a nice-looking bay area weekend ahead and i just
