Five cars stolen here last night including the car that was involved in the collision. That car ended up on meadowview drive. That is where a sixyearold boy was walking to school with his grandmother and brother at about 8 oclock this morning. He had stopped on his way to school to been down and look at some worms. He was bending down within car lost control when the car lost control. Reporter the car the end his leg against the pole. His injuries are severe and he did have surgery today. The driver ran off and neighbors say he did not ever look back. I heard a big bang and i looked out the window and i saw the geilo running down the hill. I saw the guy right jump out of the car and ran down the hill. He did not look back. He just ran. Reporter investigators say they are looking for that driver. They say they have impounded the car and are coming up for evidence. I am curious if any of the other vehicles that were stolen have been located. Police are investigating another Sexual Assault near uc berkeley campus. Berkeley Police Confirm there have been four Sexual Assaults in the south campus area. All in the span of less than a month and they believe the same man may be behind all of them. The victim from the most recent attack on saturday, described as being in his 20s, possibly 30s. Today, we take a closer look at the San FranciscoHousing Market and how the socalled Affordable Homes are faring. Is it a buyers market right now or a good time to sell . And can you find a deal. Last time i was here, we talked about how there are lots of different markets. I wanted to break it into three. We look at what we call the entrylevel market. And then the very high end market. And you put together some slides for us. The socalled Affordable Homes, what do you mean by affordable and talk us through the information. We have a number of condo sales that have happened so far this year. If we look at the entrylevel price point, we see the number of sales is up slightly but in terms of days on market, q actually have your midrange market where it is up substantially but your luxury condo market is down which is really kind of counterintuitive. Wadia think that is the case . Its actually interesting. When we get to the side, Single Family homes. At the highend, for Single Family homes, days on market is up 111 yearoveryear. So people typically think that condos are kind of the redheaded stepchild. It in the bay area, luxury condos are preferred because they are out of out of area buyers are concerned about maintenance and security. They want a turnkey luxury solution. Put up the next line. We are looking at Single Family homes. If we look at days on the market, we look at the other side, affordable. Affordable, thats the range . 400 to 700. Up to 700 would be the entry level price point and heres a great example. And offers started in real estate, the first house Single Family i ever sold was a Single Family in excelsior testing for about 300 385. That same house, 400,000. That same house, 700,000 800,000 right now. That is the price of entry in San Francisco. So if we look at that, which is a fairly expensive price target for price of entry, anyplace else, that would not be the entrylevel. So if we look at that, the number of sales is actually down in that price range. But the market is down even more. So its not that the homes are not selling. There are no more. They are vanishing. They are quickly becoming extinct. We have one more about condos. If you could talk us through this last one. If we look at if we look at the number of cells on the condo market, entry level, it is down substantially. The least expensive condos. But we just dont have condos under like we used to.
