But this is a very interesting question if you would ask me a year ago 3 years ago when I finished the hot if you would ask me is aids a weapon I would have said no absolutely not the evidence shows that it's in the emerging natural virus from the rainforest of Central Africa that's the consensus view but now knowing what I know now about the kinds of research that is going on in various places around the world I have to kind of wonder there's a little bit of doubt in the back of my mind the origin of Aids is. Most likely it's natural but since the origin is unknown the possibility that it's something that leaked out of a laboratory cannot be ruled out. For example I don't I don't think that aids is probably genetically engineered I don't think it's an artificial virus but I think that it could be something that the military program was working with. There was an awful lot of research going on in the fifty's sixty's and seventy's in the military labs and one of the things one of the focuses was trying to find agents that will crush the human immune system maybe you know they were growing up maybe the Russians or somebody were growing up the aids virus and testing it out and human and they found hey it doesn't work very well because you know it doesn't kill you just kind of depresses your immune system but they fail to recognize the fact that it kills you 10 years later and then it got out into the human population and that's one possible scenario that's highly speculative that's only a hypothesis but since the origin of Aids is and we can't rule these kinds of things out.
