(butted with) (takesot ray kilcoyne) right as he opened the door and ready to take one step into my son's room the cops starting screaming this is las vegas police department the man says he broke his fingers trying to stop the men from getting away. police are stil searching for all of them. our roads... in just 48 hours-- we've lost 7 people in traffic accidents all across the valley. the latest happened around noon yesterday in north las vegas. here you can see the destroyed suv on its side, after police say it drove off a bridge near the union pacific railroad tracks. two people in the car, a man driving and a female passanger were both killed on impact. witnesses told police the man was speeding, before he lost control and went right off the road. officers are now looking into if alcohol was also a factor. just hours before that... a cadillac driver died after rear ending a semi on the i-15 southbound near the 95. the man inside the cadillac was pronounced dead at the scene. the semi driver was not hurt. nhp had to shut down lanes on the 15 for almost 6 hours while they investigated. saturday night, two people were killed and another is recovering with serious injuries... at boulder highway and d-i. police say an 81 year old woman driving a dodge dart made a left hand turn infront of a pickup truck. the woman and her 83 year old passenger died at sunrise hospital. meanwhile, a bus rider is now calling for change... after another one of those deadly accidents this weekend. in this one, a woman was killed, after an rtc bus crashed right into the bus stop... christopher castilow says the bus driver was doing fine, when all of the sudden he went up onto the curb, right into a bus shelter... hitting a woman waiting for a ride. castilow says the driver didn't realize he had run over a person at first... and stopped a few hundred feet later. then when everyone realized what happened... the driver was extremely distraught. "it was pretty gruesome. it was not something you would have wanted anyone to see."
