this is after a massive computer outage on monday. here's a live look at mccarran where we've seen one cancellation and multiple delays this morning. delta says 80 percent of its flights are leaving within 30 minutes of their depature time. the airline is still offering vouchers to people who are delayed by more than 3 hours... developing news out of baltimore... a justice department investigation has found unconstitutional practices by the police department. according to the report.... the practices led to officers stopping, searching, and arresting more african americans than other races. one african-american man was reportedly stopped 30 times in five years - without an arrest. (stephanie rawlings-blake- baltimore mayor)- "over the next few months, we will put in place a concrete plan for good of the city, for the good of the police department, and the good of the people the department protects." the d-o-j monitored baltimore's policing methods for more than a year. the department requested this - after the death of freddie gray. and..scary moments for a group of peaceful protesters as a man is struck by a car and gunfire erupts..... ((people screaming "somebody shooting! somebody shoo the incidents occurred during what had been a commemoration of the death of michael brown. the 18-year-old was shot and killed by ferguson police on august ninth, 2014. witnesses say that a speeding car hit a protester in the street. when protesters attempted to stop the vehicle...the woman driving it reversed directions and tried to get away. several people began chasing the fleeing car ....witnesses said some had guns and fired shots as the car sped away. did not intentionally hit the demonstrator. the condition of the protesters who was hit is unknown. we have some sad breaking news to pass onto you... this midday. popular e-s-p-n personality john saunders has passed away. he was a fixture on espn for 30 years. the news was just announced live this morning on sports center. :00 " we have some shocking... nearly 30 years." 21 hannah storm was understandably emotional when passing on the it's still not clear how he died. saunders is survived by his wife and two daughters. he was just 61 years old. into his own hands after shooting a would be intruder.... it happened around 10-30 last night--- near valley verde and windmill in a guard-gated community. the homeowner heard the security alarm go off. and found the suspect in his backyard. the homeowner shot the guy, grazing his head with a bullet. the suspect took off... but police caught him nearby. he was taken to the hospital and is expected survive. right now-- the search is on for the driver who may have decatur at flamingo, earlier this morning. one car was sent into the air... and landed upside down . 13 action news reporter marissa kynaston was able to talk with the man who called 911. take vo allen flores says this terrible crash hit too close to home. earlier this morning-- at least two vehicles crashed-- this car-- flipped completely upside down. flores lives literally feet away from where that crash happened-- with only this small brick wall to protect him from the traffic on decatur. take sot allen flores, called my window, but thank god it didn't (you said your daughter sleeps...) my son sleeps right there, so it's right here, happened right here, glad it happened there and not here you know? marissa tag again just a lot of damage left over from that crash-- this cone is now right where the light pole used to be-- public works just came to remove that after the accident. police are still investigating-- trying to find that third car that may have been involved. mk-- crash-vo also overnight, a manw scooter. police tell us the 53-year-old man veered off the road near bonanza and rancho... then crashed into a business and was thrown from his scooter. the man was pronounced dead at the hospital. it's still not clear what caused the man to veer off the road. trump sot: hillary wants to abolish, essentially abolish the second amendment, by the way, and if she gets to pick, if she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks. although the second amendment know. donald trump on the defensive today. his campaign insisting he was not suggesting his supporters use violence against hillary clinton. but the controversy over his comments is not dying down. the clinton campaign is pushing back calling the remarks "denagerous." that's how it's been seen by many... including one of trump's supporters sitting behind him on the stage. remark. however... team trump insists he was talking about how voters could mobilize to keep clinton out of office.
