We must resist that temptation. Reporter the line caught conservatives, including rush limbaugh, by surprise. Lets not start that now. Reporter trump is hitting back. Shes weak on illegal immigration and she certainly has no trouble asking me for campaign contributions. Because over the years, shes asked me for a hell of a lot of money. Reporter haleys message to trump . Relax. I consider mr. Trump a friend. And down the thruway in buffalo tonight, a very similar scene. And there is a trouble spot this evening, rob marciano is tracking it before we even get to the noreaster. Hey, rob. Reporter yeah, a lot of cold air, david, as you know, coming across some still very warm water of the great lakes. All five lakes in play. Weve had 20 inches reported in erie county. An african man in his mid 20s, according to italian media, now accused of aggravated murder. Hes said to have been known to the place for past drug infractions. It was analysis of video from cameras that reportedly led the authorities to the suspect, who was spotted walking olsen home and then going inside with her. This bar is the last place olsen was seen. These photos from dailymail. Com. Its just down the street from her apartment. Shes believed to have left around 3 00 or 4 00 a. M. Friday morning. Her body was found in her studio apartment on saturday, naked with scratches and bruises around her neck. The autopsy revealed she had been strangled by a cord or a chain. Apartment today, reportedly wrapping up the forensic search. Olsens father has put out an emotional statement, saying the family is devastated and heartbroken over their loss. David . Alex marquardt with us tonight. Thank you, alex. Back here in this country now, and to the growing outrage this evening, and the growing fear in flint, michigan. Tonight, the
National Guard
mobilizing, officials going door to door there, delivering bottled water, after it was revealed the tap water is contaminated with lead and has been for more than a year now, after a change was made to save money. And now word of something else. A spike in a deadly disease, and the question, is it all linked . Abcs alex perez in flint tonight. Reporter tonight,
National Guard
troops called in to hand out water, an emergency move in flint, michigan. Teams going door to door, dropping off bottled water and filters for taps. We need one up here. Reporter water contaminated by lead. Especially dangerous for children. Their kids tested for lead poisoning. This all starting in 2014, when the cashstrapped city of flint stopped paying for water from lake huron and began to process water from the nearby flint river, to save some 19 million. Immediately, residents began to complain of badtasting, foulsmelling water. Tests later revealing toxic levels of lead in the system, but it wasnt until more than a year later that authorities declared this
Drinking Water
unsafe. And today, new concerns. Could this dirty tap water be linked to a legionnaires outbreak . At least 87 cases, including ten deaths, in 2015. The city has switched back to lake huron water, but the river water damaged the pipe system, and lead levels are still not safe. And, david, unlike bacteria and other problems, boiling water does nothing to remove the lead. The mayor here tells me, it could be months before the tap water here is safe to drink. David . Alex perez in flint for us. And there is still much more ahead on world news tonight this wednesday. New developments. The mystery house explosion, the family trapped inside. That home gutted by flames in one suburban american town. What investigators are saying now about the cause. It was not gas. This was something else. Also, the
Young American
woman emerging from this coma, and why her message on facebook has hundreds of thousands reading about her story tonight. And car sales in this country hitting an alltime high. But why do so many owners regret it the second they drive off the lot . Tonight, very important tips coming up here, and the three biggest regrets about questions not asked. When i lay in my tempur pedic contour then i slowly feel it start to kind of wrap itself around me. My mind just kind of goes blank. Then the next thing i know its morning. With tempurflex youve got the spring and bounce of a traditional mattress then it also adjusts to my body. My cloud feels so comfortable. It feels like somebodys hugging you. How can a bed do that . This is the best investment of your life because vo this year, change your life with your best nights sleep. Change to tempurpedic. I accept im not 22. I accept im not the rower i used to be. I even accept i have a higher risk of stroke due to afib, a type of irregular heartbeat not caused by a heart valve problem. But i wont accept is getting out there with less than my best. So if i can go for
Something Better
than warfarin, i will. Eliquis. Eliquis reduced the risk of stroke better than warfarin, plus it had significantly less major bleeding than warfarin. Eliquis had both. That really mattered to me. Dont stop taking eliquis unless your doctor tells you to, as stopping increases your risk of having a stroke. Dont take eliquis if you have an artificial heart valve or abnormal bleeding. While taking eliquis, you may bruise more easily and it may take longer than usual for any bleeding to stop. Seek immediate medical care for sudden signs of bleeding, like unusual bruising. Eliquis may increase your bleeding risk if you take certain medicines. Tell your doctor about all planned medical or dental procedures. I accept i dont have to set records. But im still going for my personal best. And for eliquis. Reduced risk of stroke plus less major bleeding. Ask your doctor if switching to eliquis is right for you. Next tonight, the
Real Money Team
is back. Car sales in america setting a record. And a new survey tonight, finding 70 of new owners driving off the lot with whats called buyers remorse. Abcs
Clayton Sandell
tonight with three very important tips. Reporter gas prices are down more than 17 million new cars and trucks sold last year, a record. But until you win powerball, youre probably still looking for a good deal, and to avoid common mistakes that can lead to buyers remorse. Like being unprepared. Experts say you should narrow your choice to one or two models. Know the features you want to avoid being talked into buying what you dont need. Its doing the physical research, getting out there, going and visiting different dealers, test driving the cars. Reporter second mistake . Focusing on getting a low monthly payment. It sounds good, but to do it, you need a longer loan with a higher interest rate, costing you thousands more in the long run. Instead, go for the lowest price possible. You have to empower yourself to be a smart shopper. Reporter finally, a new car depreciates by about 11 , just as soon as you drive it off the lot. So, consider buying used. Heres apparently whats not a mistake, buying a car in a bright or unusual color. Cheaper and they hold their value longer. David . Who knew . Clayton sandell with us tonight. Clayton, thank you. And when we come back here, one nfl team is on the move tonight. Leaving its hometown and headed to l. A. New leads in the mystery house explosion we told you about, with the family found inside. What investigators are now revealing tonight. And the incredible story, the young woman coming out of her coma. What she said, what she wrote after waking up that is going viral tonight. Well be right back. E agerelated macular degeneration, amd we came up with a plan to help reduce my risk of progression. And everywhere i look. Im reminded to stick to my plan. Including
