And the committee is not taking it lightly. Swimming and pools are an important part of our community, says salvatore. Theres a lot of people that take a lot of ownership and pride in them. So, were making our decisions with all that in mind and were delicately approaching the situation, trying to make the best decision possible. The City Council Approved nearly 2 point2 Million Dollars to renovate the facility. The money will come from the citys Capital Improvement plan.
