"it's a little bit different environment instead of just meetin santa claus. you get the whole experience with breakfast, we got christmas music playing, we got elves running around doing face painting-- it's something unique to sioux city," said sioux city recreation supervisor for parks and recreation, eric griffith. while there kids could not only visit with santa, but also with his elves and mrs. claus. "today is breakfast with santa and we come all the way from the north pole just to see these kids and get them psyched up for christmas!" said mrs. claus. mrs. claus says santa will be looking over all the kids in siouxland this holiday season. while at breakfast with santa, kids got to tell him what they want for christmas. lilly riker told santa she has 100 things on her christmas list. she wants panther clothes and star lilly. when we asked lilly and her little brother, alex, why seeing santa is so fun-- they had some good reasons. "because he gives us all the toys and he gives us when we don't even have to pay money," said 6-year-old, lilly riker.
