"they all are here. they bring parents, they bring grandparents-- everybody needs a motel. restaurants also are used by these same teams and i'm sure on their off days when they don't have anything to do their at the movie theatre or at the mall. i think it has a huge impact on sioux city," said naia committee member, sheryl gamble. "that really helps the hotel side of things because they'e gauranteed to stay in hotels all week long in sioux city so that's a pretty cool aspect to a tournament like this," said naia volleyball co- tournament director, corey westra. and local teams like briar cliff appreciate the impmpt too. "we're just happy that we have the opportunity to come here and play because not every team so we're pretty lucky that sioux city hosts the national tournament," said briar cliff university senior volleyball middle blocker, breanna these young women do more than play volleyball while they're in town. they also like to give back. on sunday, they held the annual youth clinic for siouxland girls n-a-i-a players taught basic skills like passing, setting, serving and hitting.
