Jail records indicate he was arrested friday night and booked under his legal name, clarence wheldon. Uber wants its drivers to sign on the dotted line as part of an agreement barring them from participating in classaction lawsuits against the ride sharing company. The new legal agreement was issued two days after a judge expanded a california classaction suit against uber. The lawsuit is a push for the Ride Hailing Company to define drivers as employees. Doing so would make drivers eligible for reimbursement for expenses accrued while working for uber. The company says the new agreement will only apply for drivers who began driving for uber after friday and did not opt out of the initial clause.
