You see the tattoos for yourself. Ask yourself would they bias you if you were a jury and he was a defendant in a capital murder case . His attorney has filed a number of motions. They began hearing them this attention to is a request to have the defendant appear before the jury when the case goes to trial. To appear with makeup on to conceal the facial tattoos. The concern that theyre citing is the jurors could potentially be biased by the appearance of tattoos. As i mentioned there are 23 different Pretrial Motions that have been filed by the appointed counsel in this case. Attorney david fig ler. And theyre going through these several hours this afternoon. Ultimately when they get to this Pretrial Motion the judge may make a decision today on whether or not the makeup can or cant be used. Shes indicated she may not make a ruling at all on this particular Pretrial Motion today. So a bit of uncertainty. But certainly few hours to go here before they get through all these Pretrial Motions. Once they do set all of them it does move this case forward a bit on the trial.
