well, it's with heavy hearts tonight that we tell you our news 3 family lost one of t philip honable was a talented director on our production staff. he was riding his motorcycle back to the station before noon when he was killed in a crash not far from here on the northbound exit from i-15 where it crosses d street. his bike collided with a suburban. it's the kind of story we report all too often and it reminds us again that every tragedy we the families, coworkers and friends. we're in pain. phil was a dear friend of ours. he worked the mowning shift but -- morning shift but found a way to brighten the lives of everyone in the building. phil was mr. positive. this is him goofing around for our christmas party. he loved life. no way to put it other than that. he -- he always wore a smile, around here. he leaves behind a wife, daughter in school and a son in the air force academy. he was very proud of all of them. philip honable was 43. we will miss him very, very much. >> and friend is how everyone is describing him. he was much more than a coworker. one of the hardest workers. the morning shift, he was here about what? >> reporter: danica winberg is that mom. >> come on, >> reporter: soaking up every moment and milestone. >> as they grow, the smiles change. big smile. >> reporter: for this professional photographer, it's her way of freezing time. >> my grandmother documented everything. >> reporter: when she looks at the old photos she can still hear her grandmother's laugh. this is all she has left. the rest of the albums are missing after a mixup at her mom's storage facility. something had gone wrong with her payment. she was an auto pay. so nobody realized because they couldn't reach her. by the time we realized it, it was too late. >> reporter: the storage was auctioned off and cleared out. >> oh, my heart dropped. this is the legacy that i have to leave to my kids. it's gone. they won't know what their ancestors look like. >> reporter: danica says it's the company policy auction. but they are only kept for 30 days. the unit was sold 60 days ago. so danica is turning to facebook with a shot in the dark plea for help. . so far the post has 300 shares. >> it just touches your heart that people care. >> reporter: the response gives their way home. we did go inside. they gave us a number to the corporate office. . no one returned my calls. if you know anything, go to our facebook page. we would like to hear from you and we know danica would, too. kelsey thomas, news 3. >> all right. we'll be hoping for sure. who knows?
