>> i don't have to be worried. >> reporter: malik watson, darrin wilder and hakim branche-jones planned the attacks. the arrest report states at least one of the victims worked with hakim branche-jones to mail drugs from las vegas to philadelphia. postal inspectors were actively investigating hakim branche-jones, leading the victim to believe he was owed believe led to the violence. the three suspects planned the confrontation. witnesses told the police they came to the house and said you can't keep threatening us. and they poured gasoline around the house and set it on fire. michael contreras saw the blaze and rescued some of them inside. >> the body had good burns on it. >> reporter: detectives tell us after hearing news reports there those survivors led the detectives to the detectives who were arrested and charged with murder, attempted murder and kidnapping. that police report also states that those three men are members of a well-known gang in the philadelphia hooters casino releasing surveillance video hoping you will recognize the suspects involved. metro detectives say the criminals grabbed cash containers were hooters employees yesterday morning. these are the men police are looking for. officers say they left the property and got in this a car outside waiting for them. if you recognize them call crimestoppers at 702-385-5555. a house fire turns into a rubble. was it murder or was the man living in the home illegally? mystery surrounds this home as investigators try to determine how the person died and how the fire started. kelsey thomas is live near the home at sahara and lamb. >> reporter: that man's body was so badly turned -- burned that the coroner has not been able to identify the roof. it's what happened leading up to the fire that's making neighbors suspicious. >> i saw flames about -- a little bit farther than the street pole. >> reporter: explosive and out of control. it happened overnight, flames and smoke shoot into the air. a home caught fire. a man's body, found inside. >> there was definitely couples and food all over the place. there was one couple and they got irate because we were interfering and i said you don't own the house, you know, so why are you living here? >> reporter: it's a question jim mcclain already knows the answer to. the empty home he tried to keep clear of squatters now at the center of a homicide investigation as police try to figure out when and how the man inside died. >> i saw some guys trying to kick open the door before the fire department got here, and time. >> reporter: graffiti surrounds the home that's now boarded up as investigators try to piece together what happened. >> i will tell you this much -- it's not easy. >> reporter: the fire chief says it will likely take weeks to figure out how the fire started. it's too early to know if squatters are to blame but there are clues. >> there was a gas meter that was locked down, and a lot of times that's an indication that it's unoccupied. >> reporter: as for neighbor jim >> i just gave up on it because i said, well, if our metro doesn't want to respond, who else am i gonna call other than going down myself and kicking them out? >> reporter: i did call metro. they says logs don't show any calls to this home in the last three months except for the call in morning reporting the fire and body found inside. kelsey thomas, news >> thank you. the two-story rumor hotel was evacuated after another fire. clark county fire officials say when crews arrived, smoke was seen from coming from some of the rooms. all of the guests and employees were safely bought brought of the hotel. a 25-year-old woman accused of driving drunk and killing a man said it's not her fault. to hear the evidence against her. family and friends of idan cohen want her to be punished. antonio castelan joins us live outside of the regional justice center. this was the preliminary hearing where we hope to find out if this is gonna go forward to trial. do we have that decision yet? >> reporter: the judge has not decided whether this will go to trial or not. there's still plenty of testimony to be heard. the defense is hoping that the judge decides there's evidence to try this case. several witness testified the night when whitney greco ran over idan cohen as he walked around durango. christopher calloway was the first to call 911. he found his body on the roadway. >> i wanted to do something for him, but what he looked like -- [ inaudible ] >> reporter: about a while from the front windshield was broken with a huge crack. selena le blue remembers approaching greco and seeing blood running down her fate. >> a little bit in shock. >> reporter: greco's attorney said idan cohen was on his cell phone. >> he asking for help in a deadly double shooting in a casino over the weekend. two people were killed in the incident at the parking lot of the silver nugget. police say there was a large gathering there and then someone pulled out a gun and started shooting. the detectives hope someone will not been identified. no motive has been determine and no arrests have been made. police need your help. if you can help them out, give crimestoppers a call. this summer marks four years since of the president's program that shields some young people from deportation. it's called daca which stands for defer
