found the front door open with several people outside. there was a man staying in that converted room. firefighters s 5 he died on the way to the hospital. >> this was a homeless person that was living in that room and they let him stay there for free in return for doing work around the house. >> reporter: it's not clear if that converted room was up to the county's building codes.
