door sedan. a valley woman accused by the fbi of helping plot somebody kill her husband with explosives. >> court paperwork shows her husband was plotting to set off a device at the florence prison. >> yeah, this was a pretty intricate plot, 49-year-old michelle bastian behind bars, facing terrorism charges. she's accuseed of her husband build a bomb that was going to be planted here at the florence prison and set off here at the florence prison. this is where her husband is currently serving me. he's an inmate. according to the arizona attorneys general, thomas bastian is serving a life sentence for a 2008 murder. they say he became a radicalized muslim while he was here in prison, and investigators are calling him a homegrown i.s.i.s. follower. an fbi informant revealed that bomb and to plant it inside a vending machine in the visitor's section of the florence prison, hoping to kill several people. he also allegedly was plotting to kill the prison warden. now that source says that bastian's wife, michelle bastian, was planning to smuggle the bomb making materials into the prison to help her husband carry out this terrorist attack. the fbi served search warrants at michelle bastian's home in florence and at the place where she works that they found evidence of this plot. bastian is being held as of yesterday, facing a $100,000 bond facing terrorism and conspiracy to commit terrorism charges. at this point, there is no kind of word yet on what charges or disciplinary action thomas bastian may face for his connection to this terrorist plot. all right, thank you, nicole. bastian's arrest comes on the valley case, 18-year-old mahin khan arrested back in june accused of trying to blow up government buildings in pima county. he pled guilty to terrorism charges last week. police say fatigue may have played a role in a bad crash at a major phoenix intersection today. a car wound up getting wedged underneath a semi, and amazingly th taken to the hospital, and we are waiting for more information on how they are doing. this violent crash happened at central and glendale at 1:30 this morning. a 20-year-old was driving when a man ran a red light. the driver went straight into the semi and ended up underneath the trailer, as you can see. he was dragged about 30 feet, and the victim was rushed to the hospital with a severe head injury. police say impairment was not a factor, but the driver may have been tired. afternoon. a motorcyclist is seriously hurt in a crash in the east valley. it happened in greenfield and mckellips. the cyclist rushed to the hospital in serious condition. the intersection shut down in all directions. police investigated exactly what happened here. two teenagers are at a hospital after a gas station shooting overnight. it looks like the two groups met to exchange goods. they may have bought something online on craigis something like that and the shooting broke out. a 15-year-old and 18-year-old both expected to survive their injuries, two other teens taken into custody. a fox follow-up on an officer-involved shooting earlier this week, investigators say a 25-year-old man in full body armor was threatening to kill another man with a gun at 38th street and van buren. when officers arrived the suspect hid behind a police car, pointed his gun at officers two different times. they opened fire and wounded him. he was taken to the hospital expected to survive. none of the officers were hurt. mother and babysitter accused of a horrific case of child abuse. police say they left a 3-year-old bound with duct tape in a closet. and that is not all. the victim is the mother's daughter. the man charged with child abuse, sexual conduct with minor and attempt to commit sexual conduct with a minor and also kidnapping. the abuse charges now. in the race for the white house, former miss earned run average claims that g.o.p. candidate donald trump walked into a room where she and other contestants were partially undressed without warning. she exceeded back in the miss u.s.a. pageant in 2001 and is now speaking out. >> our first introduction to him was when we were at the dress rehearsal, half naked, dressing to have the owner come in when we are naked or half naked in a very physically vulnerable position, and then we have the pressure of people running things telling us to go fawn all over him, talk to him, get his attention. >> two other women are claiming that trump inappropriately touched them as well. the g.o.p. candidate spoke about these allegations at a rally in florida about two hours ago. >> the claims are preposterous, ludicrous, and defy truth, common even a simple investigation would have shown that these were nothing more than false smears. >> well, democratic candidate hillary clinton here, facing some criticism as well this afternoon after hacked e-mails from campaign insiders were released. those e-mails reportedly show, among other things, a troy hayden and syleste rodriguez. two boston police officers fighting for their lives after they were shot on duty. the suspected shooter is dead. boston police say the officers were responding to a report of an armed suspect in the home of the eastern part of that city, and the officers came under fire when they got there. after an hour, officers ended up shooting and killing that suspect, one of the officers hit condition, the other is in stable condition. the terror suspect who police say set off bombs in manhattan and new jersey pleads not guilty through his attorney today. his name is ahmed khan rahami, still recovering after being hit multiple times during a shootout with police last month. the suspect communicating with police by nodding from his hospital bed. he is accused of injuring 31 people when a pressure cooker last month. a southern arizona lawmaker wants the state's attorney general to determine if tuscon is breaking state law by destroying guns instead of selling them. mark brnovich is asking for an investigation. a law signed by governor doug ducey this year states local laws would lose their state revenue if they don't stop. a new video of a smoking samsung
