that moisture and here you go with the aerial flood advisory for that area. that's until 7:30 this evening. but also you can see that they have dropped the dust warning or advisory for that area. there is still some good moisture and in the air and we still have some weather and we will have that in just a little bit. we will check with you shortly a weather alert in florida tonight. that's where hurricane hermine is inching closer to shore. hermine expected to make landfall late tonight or possibly early tomorrow. but the effects of the storm as you can see are being felt in parts of the state. streets are starting to flood in the treasure island area and people living there are being warned about heavy thunderstorms possibly even flooding and maybe and tonight at 6:00 a reminder about just how dangerous a young child's curiosity can be. a two-year-old gets his hands on a gun and ends up shooting himself in the leg. steve krafft spoke to a neighbor who heard the sirens and rushed over to help and joins us live. >> this happened near 48th avenue and peoria last night. another example of what can happen when grownups leave a gun in a place where a small child can find it. >> this was the scene last night as officers rushed to a home near 40th avenue and northwest phoenix. phoenix police say the little boy found a hand gun in a drawer and shot himself. the bullet hit the two-year-old's upper leg and groin. a neighbor says the accident happened in front of another child in front of the house who is six years old a neighbor could tell something was wrong and rushed to help. >> i was in the house and the back and the dogs are carrying on and carrying on i don't look and i open the curtain and i looked out and saw the paramedics and ran out real quick and then i went over there window hanging out screaming, screaming and i said and grampa was there and i said what's wrong and he said my grandson just shot himself. >> the police say they are not life-threatening injuries. the phoenix police are investigating the case the neighbor cannot understand why the gun wasn't stored and locked away from the children. >> why you leave a gun with two little kids around, i don't know. i'm surprised he could paul trigger. he is only two years >> bottom line here, if you have a gun, lock it up in a gun safe. make sure your guns are in a place where say kirk davis has been the president of the pat tillman memorial vfw post for the past two years. and that during that time he stole more than $100,000. embezzlement charges. police are searching for the man in these two photos. they say this guy burglarized phoenix home after getting in through a doggy door. you see a pretty decent picture there snapped as he made his way in. this all happened tuesday afternoon and that the man stole a pearl necklace and other items from the home near 46th avenue and bell. anyone with information on this case being asked to call silent witness that phone to the gas station before hitting the road this holiday weekend, be sure to watch out for credit card skimmers at the pump. these skimmers are card readers that can steal your info and last year in arizona there were at gas pumps but this year so far more than 50 of them have been found. and nearly 30 of those were found in august alone some this is on the rise. the state agriculture department says these skimmers can be attached within seconds so customers need to be vigilant and they also say you should never use your debit card at the pump. we have a list of locations where the skimmers until 7:30 this evening. not the only are moisture. you can see near flagstaff some good rain up there. over in the western side of the state over by peach springs some storms. in the eastern mountains you see show low in there and we have a little bit of active weather there and something coming in from the south as well. 104 degrees on the high today. you can see 100 at goodyear. 101 at deer valley and 102 in 94 up at kingman. 75 at show low. 102 at gila bend today. 104 is your high. 87 for the morning low. 104 and 81 would be the normal high and low some we are little high on the
