And we had to send someone out there the band honor on their reunion tour back together for the first time in decades. Our own marcy jones out there live at the stadium and she got a peek at what the crew had it to do to set up this massive concert. I have to say it was a little weird after several days of cards camp to go in there and not see the turf. Those production crews are working so hard to transform it it into a ragein rock and roll venue in 24 hours, fans will be out here filling up the barricades and getting tickets and rolling on in to see this fantastic show that they waited so long for and earlier we caught up with the production manager who showed us how it all goes down. For guns and roses its Production Day university of 20 trucks, 250 crew members. And tons of steel. It takes us to put this up we are talking we would like to have four days. Three steel days, one Production Day and then show day and then a load out. Nobody knows more about a show like this than dale who has been a rock and roll production manager for almost 40 years. All ive done. Have done that since 1979. Thats all ive done this much is all touring around the world and traveling and making it and roses has nothing to prove because this is a reunion tour the expectations are high. Important thing for this show the guys asked for us to make sure that we present them. Present them to the fans. And not bring in gags and that its a rock show. With the stadium transforming into the perfect rock and roll venue, the band is leaving their heart on the stage for dedicated fans. The three of them really enjoy it. After a stretch of some soggy and sticky days, we are going to see drier and warmer conditions. We will take a look at your ten day coming up after the break. Hi, im dana from aarp in Downtown Phoenix to tell you about all the real possibilities happening right here in your community. Because if you dont think real possibilities when you think aarp, then you dont know aarp. We are volunteering with fitphx meet me downtown walkrun program. Join us every monday in Downtown Phoenix. Helping build community through fitness and keeping our city in motion. Get to know us and see all the real possibilities louisiana getting hit incredibly hard by massive flooding that has left at least three people dead. Crews have rescued about 7,000 people so far and more than 5,000 people are staying in shelters overnight. Right now one person is still reported missing. Look at these pictures. You can see why. These heavy rains started friday night. Dropping about ten inches of water and that was on friday alone. And it doesnt look like relief is on the way for these folks whether ex weather experts are saying the rivers there are going to keep rising until monday. We tried out the back door. There was spider. And out the kitchen there was a snake. We fought through that and then finally got in the c wow. They are lucky they made it out. They say sunday hasnt been quite as rainy. Thats the good news. Residents were told to stay in their homes unless they got a call to evacuate. Really an historic rain event in that section of the country. We will take a look at that in a moment and makes us appreciate what we have here in the valley. Its been sticky, but we were about average for the start of your workweek. A lot of moisture to the south of us. The bulk of the rain we are seeing out there is in our neighborhood to the east of us. We are seeing new mexico predominantly where we are seeing showers dry and warm what we are seeing here in arizona. The National Picture i want to show you as we start our show because its a mess out there all of this moisture off the gulf coast line in addition to this area of low pressure moving through texas is making for severe flooding conditions. Notice despite the fact there is less rain we still have these flood washes and warnings. Not just in the southeast but stretching into parts of the ohio valley as we continue to see that low moving into that section of the country. So not out of the woods yet. Some sections of mississippi and louisiana in just the past three days has seen anywhere between 20 and 30 inches of rain. Thats correct. Here we arent looking at flooding, but we are looking at our own watch of sorts. At air quality warning in effect for tomorrow until 9 00 because great outside. The ozone concentration very high. So stay indoors if you can. Temperaturewise numbers anywhere from 106 in glendale to 107 in mesa. Little cooler in deer valley at 102 even more so at cave creek. Florence at 103 degrees and normal temp for today, 105. Not too bad. We came in at 106 this afternoon back in just 2015 so just last year at this time we were 117 degrees. Any other complains we had in the Weather Department or a home we got to throw them back door because conditions werent that bad today. Tonight we will look at conditions that are warm. We will see 86 for yuma. 88 for bullhead city. Payson in the 60s. Not so bad at st. Johns at 60s. 50 for flag and then tomorrow continuing to see that magenta color on our contour map which means hot temperatures. 114 is expected for lake havasu. A couple of degrees cooler for yuma. 90 for prescott. 95 for winslow. Douglas in the low 90s. We will stay dry. We will stay warm perhaps a there tonight into tomorrow we continue with that warming trend. 10. The expected high for the afternoon. Now chance of storms it will be back in our forecast potentially as early as wednesday or thursday. But even at that point its minimal. Looks like most of the activity we will see out there will be in higher terrain so for a few days we enjoy warmer and drier conditions and then when that chance for storms comes back into the forecast we will have a drop in temperature. The classic tradeoff we look at, do you like it do you like it warm and dry. Or san diego . Whie you are watching us get out of town. Or sedona, all points north. A lot of places to escape that are cooler. Thats the good news. We didnt get 20 inches of rain in day. Or 30 over three days. Unbelievable. Thats a good way to look at it.
