stubborn downtown sf. our temperatures will be going on. san francisco at 49. 53 across the bay in oakland and in the east bay lower temperatures today. not a big surprise because of the overcast skies. the charcoal gray will mix out and we will see basically sunny skies to the east bay shoreline but around the peninsula. it may be more stubborn. getting up to 68 by 4:00 and dry air and we do have a southwest wind at five to ten. it will be a little bit more intense for downtown san francisco. as far as our break down, we will call it mostly cloudy and cool and the temperatures pretty much in the 50s and starting to separate by noon. 64 and 67 going on by noon and by 4:00, we are talking lower 70s, particularly the inland locations, variable clouds and pesky cloud cover in the peninsula and downtown. we will have more details for the rest of the weekend. marty. >> thank you, dave. big news we are following, a major f.b.i. raid in san francisco. one of the people detained is at the center of the investigation is in a legal battle with the city. this video shows him being beaten but this morning there are unanswered questions about what the f.b.i. was looking for. kron4 jeff bush has what we know so far. >> come to the front door. >> f.b.i. agents calling to stan petror and several other people. they were taken in a daylight raid. it is unclear why the feds were involved but this is the same house where neighbors say a shooting occurred in the early morning hours. the home has been raided before, this time agents were focused on the contents of this camaro that was parked in the garage of the house. it is unclear what officers were looking for. as you can imagine, the raid startled unsuspecting residents. >> r.r.r.r.r.r.r.r.r.!"we have type video. that petrov has been in the spotlight. áq he was in this video being beaten by alameda deputies. you can see the depa(es here after a car chase that started in castro valley and ended up in san francisco and that case is still being investigated. we don't know why the fbi raided the home or they were taken into custody. we will bring you an update as soon as we get more information. >> the shocker at oracle arena. the warriors run for 73 wins and took a big hit friday night when the doves lost to the boston celtics. it snaps a regular season home streak that went on for a year. in fact it is the longest home streak let's take you outside from the live look from the golden gate bridge. overcast skies and we are expected to warm up throughout the day and through the week, right, dave. >> yes, but depending where you're it will be rough around the peninsula in terms of the cloud cover. here is a look at the san mateo bridge. an overcast story. we may see later this morning a different type of story for the east bay. temperatures for us in the lower 50s in the far east bay and up to the north bay and same program and downtown san francisco. not a lot of variety. visibility levels have dropped and pretty good over the bay area so it is pretty much the ten mile visibility standard. there it is on the satellite picture. we don't see much of an interference from the pacific and with this nice high pressure system building, that will provide thumb on the scales to warm us up. here is what the futurecast has to say for the cloud cover. notice at 12:00. it is sweeping out and it kind of hangs around the golden gate but most of the region will start to see clearing skies giving us nice warm temperatures. not far away, it will hover out to the sea. the low lying clouds in the bay there. you can see overnight clearing again for us by sunday, late morning and afternoon as well. we will be having mostly sunny days for most of the bay but a little pesky for the actual beaches and the coast and you can see being spread by the cloud cover. a closer inspection of the temperatures for the east bay shoreline, upper 60s and lower 70s. we have a northwest to west wind onshore. you head to the far east bay, some of the numbers get crazy here. mid-70s on the board and a possibility of a runaway train. you don't see the numbers pop until we get to the middle of the week. this is where we start to break out maybe some 80s by wednesday and again that will be in the inland regions before we retreat back to the 70s and that will feel down right chilly for the rest of the week. marty. some east bay parents are upset about a planned curriculum dealing with lgtb issues at a san mateo school and some parents threatening to keep their kids home to protest. we have the changes that the parents want made to the program. >> i think the material is something that is best suited for being at home with your family. >> reporter: this parent and a dozen others showed up at the san ramon school district concerned about this. >> early on there were signs that panel was different. >> this is one of several different videos that is scheduled to be played during acceptance week at windermere school starting april 11th. a spokesman says that the student came up with the curriculum. however, not all parents shall on board. >> i have viewed the video and it's not accepted for 12 and 13- year-olds. >> parent have the option to have their kids opt out of the program yet the issue is ... >> it forces kids to walk away and kids from 11 to 13 are not there who handle why they won't participate. >> and this parent felt so strongly he plans to pull his children out of classes, if it goes forward. >> i will speak on a personal note. we will boycott the school for the week and we will deal with it that way. >> at windermere there seems to be a different move. >> to be tolerate for different cultures. >> and this man does not have kids at this school but another school. she showed up to bring flowers to the principal in support and she has a same sex partner. >> i started it on facebook with my friend and they are angry and we are are picking up flowers for the principal to support him. >> they appreciate the dialogue with parents and they sent out the curriculum several weeks in advance and have made changes to their original plan. a former student of pioneer high school in santa rosa is suing the district saying she was sexually assaulted and saying that the 17-year-old male student grabbed her in the restroom and sexually assaulted her. the suit claims that same student was arrested for another sexual assault the year before. the suit contends that school did not take action. she is now seeking compensation for her medical and counseling bills. the school did not return our calls to comment on the case. san francisco's public defender's office is getting involved in the case of the racist and homophobic message sent by police officers. one officer think it may have tainted cases. the demands are listed in demand to the district attorney general's office. last year four officers were accused of sending similar text messages. we have a warning about a series of deadly drug overdose. the d.a. ample the d. -- dea is linked to the drug linked with fentanyl and 50 times more powerful than heroin. the wife of one man that died wants someone to be accountable. >> those were the keys keeping those pills and having them tested so we would know but no one is investigating it because they view it as an overdose, it is not and it is murder. whoever is making the pills is murdering people. >> the d. e. a. says there is 36 overdoses in sacramento county. coming up a little bit later in the broadcast, the warriors, the hottest team half-moon bay, lower at around nine. we do have a trough up towards the north. an area of low pressure a front and a dry one. so all we will get is spray by clouds. early on the week now, and that is going to delay the temperatures. we will see the numbers climb but way to the middle of the week and you will need shorts by that time. san francisco looking at lower 60s where clouds will be more pesky. southwest winds at 10 to 20 and on the breezy side and the breaks down like this. noon clearing up in the east. temperatures 67 already in the inland and 64 at the bay and 4:00 talking 68 and that changed and he is living on the streets of sonoma county. we explain where he is supposed to end up. >> reporter: a father in petaluma say he and other dad have been exchanging this photo on facebook. >> we released this information so the public is knowledgeable about this offender so they can be aware. >> the hotel where the man booked a room has been circulating. the sex offender will live on the streets in petaluma county. with an ankle bracelet his probation officer will be able to see where he is. he has groped a 15-year-old and all of the incidents happened in public places and the last one at santa rosa college. >> if you want good behavior you should create that. >> i think they should have a home for them like a place where they can just live in their own little community, together, away from children and other children. >> can't get a room, hopner will live on the streets while he attends rehab counseling. the department of corrections will continue to work with him to get a more stable living situation. reporting in petaluma kron4. 400 plants were confiscated with a street value of $375,000. narcotic detectives received the tips on kingswood drive. it was discovered thursday morning. these are pictures taken from inside the grow house. all told more than 400 plants were found inside. according to police, no arrests have been made thus far in the i'm mark mare. and happening today, you could see crab hitting bay area restaurants and the prices could be coming down. crab fishermen have been out all week catching crab. until now, the available dungeness coming from washington state. the prices should be coming down which is hovering $20 a pound in some restaurants. the crab season has been delayed four months after unhealthy levels of a automotive expert and skeptical about the $35,000 base price. >> i can go out tomorrow and buy a $35,000 bmw sports car and by the time i get all of the junk on it in the showroom and the cool stuff it is $60,000. is that how this car is going to work? >> not clear what exact features are standard. we are missing details about the new tesla but we got 18 months to learn about it. but we do know this, if tesla pulls it off, it will forever change the auto industry. >> they have the money they need to get the money on the road. however, those people will have their money tied up for about two years before they see their first new tesla iii hitting the road. so, yes, a big deal but i'm not convinced it is a home run yet. this could be a great car and it could be the answer but at the same time, it could be a nightmare for tesla. this is a make or break. they won get a second chance to do this. they got to get it right the first time. all right. gabe, thanks. let's look outside from the out for us. so be patient on that. let's look at the temperatures. not a lot of movement is what we got going on because of the cloud cover capping the temperatures off from overnight falling but that will clear out on the east bay almost instantaneously and on the west side and on the golden gate it will hang around a little bit. the visibility levels are high in most areas. santa rosa is the exception at five and half moon bay at 9 and everybody else is checking in at the ten range. we like to see that. what is this up north? we define this as a dry trough. in other words not bringing precisation and cloud cover. but think of it this way, it is delaying the precipitation that we will see in the middle of the week. a delayed warmup but coming in the middle of the week. san jose winds, 10 to 15 and higher for san francisco and we will get up to the mid-70s with all of that, too and it will be warm in the far east bay numbers too. 62 by 8:00 or so. do want to note the planning forecast mid to upper 60s and racing by the noon hours. still at the coast chilly and 57. the beaches you will deal with the low level cloudiness and variable clouds and mild conditions by 4:00 even at the beaches. take a look at the east bay shoreline. upper 60s and lower 70s for afternoon highs and you head further east and the numbers start to pop. middle 70s. i did say the heating is delayed, wait until you see what happens by wednesday. up to 80 it looks like and temperatures retreat back down to about 70 and that makes it a little chilly by that point. marty. >> thanks, dave. a chilly on separate charges including armed robbery. new information about the hostage situation that took place on march 24th in the red land. a woman held hostage by her ex- boyfriend was shot and killed by explosive material on a school bus after training exercises there last week. the training session took place over spring break while the students at a virginia high school were away. the school is gone global, and it may be worse than most thought. that's according to a new study by the medical website, lancet. it says one in five people will be obese by the year 20-25. the study shows in four decades, global obesity has more than tripled among men and doubled among women. they say 18-percent of men and 21-percent of women will be obese. experts blame our faster, more urban lifestyles and
